  1. Pwede ka magfile ng annulment based on psychological incapacity. Mukhang meron dependent personality disorder yung asawa mo.

  2. Well, what's common in most Philippines marriages which end up to separation is parental alienation. Both parents put the child in the middle and make the other parent look bad so as to monopolize the child. Here's an informative video from one of the resource speaker about this topic.

Parental alienation is a hate crime with the children being the ultimate victim. It opposes the essence of visitation right which is to foster parent-child relationship. It breeds hate which will be a burden to the children when the grow. We have to save these children by making alienator aware of the long term consequences of such actions. The child should never pay for the misunderstanding of parents.

  3. Lex,

I filed a motion to exercise visitation. The problem is it's the Holiday Season of 2012 and I was caught by surprise that my ex-wife gave me this attitude of depriving of my visitation. I got one of the high profile lawyers in Makati but the visitation was limited only for that Holiday Season (December 2012). So, there was no provision for further visitation or electronic communication after that season. My lawyer told me that the our goal for that motion was limited since we were short of time since the Court will be closed for Christmas break. So, if I were to exercise my right, I have to file for another motion for visitation which is more comprehensive. The problem is that visitation is not defined in the Philippine Family Code. What happened in my previous visitation was I have to pick up my child from my ex-wife house in the morning then return later in the evening at specific times. I think the judge and even my lawyer were being unreasonable. I was expecting that the Judge will decide in my favor of having my child spend the entire December vacation with me. My lawyer advised me that we have to agree as that what my ex-wife wanted. So, my advise for those in the same foxhole, get a good lawyer, preferably male, and make sure that you have the same point of view for his case. See the Supreme Court decision on Silva vs Silva http://www.lawphil.net/judjuris/juri1997/jul1997/gr_114742_1997.html http://www.lawphil.net/judjuris/juri2010/feb2010/gr_166579_2010.html or visit lawphil.net and search for visitation ruling under juris section. I hope this helps.

  4. if you are abroad, how will you visit your son?

when you fly back home, that's the time you file a civil case against your ex-wife.

ex-wife is a relative of the judge who handled your case? hmmmm

Does that mean that I can only be with my son when I go to the Philippines? Would it be possible for him to visit me abroad? So, what civil case should I file against my ex-wife? Can I also file a case against the judge? Do you know any lawyer who's familiar with visitation agreement concerning a long distance dad?

  5. Hi,

I have been annulled for 7 years now and presently living abroad. My problem is that my ex-wife is denying me of visitation to my son. She has been insisting that I have abandoned them when I have been in constant communication with them and sending child support. Communication stopped last year when she apparently got serious with her boyfriend. She wouldn't let me talk to our son nor visit him. She is insisting that I have no visitation rights which just shows her ignorance of the law. Furthermore, the Judge who ruled on the annulment and custody is her close relative. She has also been brain-washing my son that I am a bad father and that I have abandoned them. Mediations have been attempted but she wouldn't show up. What are my options when I am living abroad and my ex-partner is not cooperative on sharing parental authority and allowing visitation. Could you recommend a lawyer who has experience on this case? I want everything settled for the welfare of my son. I don't want him to be sorry later for not really knowing how much his father loves him.

  6. what is the psychological disorder of a person who likes attention even if it is negative attention? lets say that person always needs the attention of others and when that person doesnt get it, that person actually causes trouble just for people to notice and interact with her?

what is the cure for a peson who has sex with anyone, and i mean anyone, because sex with anyone gives them a sense of self worth and acceptance?

what is the disorder of a person and what is the cure for someone who never admits wrongdoing and just wants everyone to accept what that person did because what was done is "alreay in the past" ? person claims to have never broken any of the ten commandments, will never admit anything, will ask for proof such as video footage but is almost impossible to acquire, goes to mass thinking that it has cleansed them, has friends who dont know each other and dont know the same things about that person, asks for forgiveness but never saying exactly for what (patawarin niyo na ako kung may nagawa man akong kasalanan), and lies and repeats the sins over and over again and asks for forgiveness the same way over and over again and the cycle goes on.

all of the above are exhibited by one person only. i apologize for the long description and questions but actually these are just some and not complete descriptions of a single person i know. i would really like to talk to a psychologist/psychiatrist regarding this because my mind is boggled by such incredible attitude and thinking this person exhibits.

THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL HISTRIONIC PERSONALITY DISORDER AND YOU DEVELOPED A CO-DEPENDENCY WITH HER AS MANIFESTED BY YOU STICKING OUT WITH HER. BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND NEVER LOOK BACK.
