Sorry I'm a newbie here and an American. For Christmas, I'm buying one of my friends a cell phone but I'm not sure where to buy a cell phone compatible with Smart or Load cards. How can I tell if a phone is compatible with those cards? Also, can I buy a cell phone in the US that would work in Phili? Any special requirements unlocked etc etc. Sorry for this I really have no idea If anyone has a link, I'd really appreciate it also.

Yes, you can buy a cellphone in the US that would work in Phil. as long as it is unlocked.. no special requirements..whatsoever..

about the cp.. i prefer.. SE ones..
