what i didn't like with the dencios sisig is that it tasted more like adobo instead of sisig
btw. where is fat fat fats?
from roxas blvd...turn to quirino after 2 intersections..turn left on mabini st. Keep going straight and you'll see FATS FATS FATS on your right. Maybe chinese resto sa ilalim nun and it's a billiard place on the 3rd floor..sarap sisig dun. It's across the malate theather.

Gulliver's....
I heard Gaudi's & Anthony's are great for their steaks!

for me, i like the siopao (both asado and bola bola) of north park. I still find it better than many others though it is no longer as good as before. The siopao of emerald garden is also good, so is the bola bola siopao of Luk Yuen.
Best siopao i've tasted is from Ling Nam in Ongpin. Their beef noodle is pretty damn good too!
Atong Ang: I've heard good reviews from sechuan house also. My friend owns that place and their food got better cuz' they acquired 3 new chefs from china around 1 1/2 years ago.

i cant speak for the other 'ma mon luks' but i know the meat dealer where masuki benavides gets their pork.
my ex's grandfather owns that place...galing pa rin mag luto until now. The grandpa cooked for us (wonton on noodle soup) when we were together in Vancouver. Sarap!! Can't get enough of it! haha

The best buffet right now is CIRCLES in makati shang...very expensive! P1,100+ yata for dinner. 2nd place for me is Paseo Uno in Mandarin hotel.
-
The best italian place i've been is in La Nouva. It's in forbes accross san antonio church..besides santis. Their quattro formaggi & seafood pizza is the best! As for pasta...crab & clam pasta with olive white wine sauce...delicious!

I pretty much Frequent Super Bowl of China cuz'
1) dimsum is good (soimai, ha kao, chicken feet, spare-ribs)
2) roasting is good (roasted pork..soy chicken) sarap on rice
3) food & service is always excellent to me.
4) my friend owns it haha
Im not being bias or anything...mas picky pa nga ako eh, I'll notice mistakes right away and tell my friend nalang so they'll get better.
Masuki (Mamunlok) in Binavidez st. (Ongpin) Since 80's kumakain na ako dun...i remember when my grandpa was still alive he'd take me there to eat noodles (sarap) and yun soimai nila kasing laki ng siopao! haha 2005 na..i still eat at that place!

The Best Buffets - Taste + Value For Money
in Food & Beverages (Not to be confused with Restos and Bar)

I went to grand hyatt's market buffet tonight and I gotta say, im very satisfied with their selection of food. Quality over quantity is what I got. Their salmon sashimi has got to be the best tasting/texture here in manila compared to any resto or any buffet places like circles or paseo uno. Thier roasting are yummy indeed! Reminded me I was eating chinese food in Vancouver. Soy duck was just amazing! *drool* The japanese section consisted of the usual tempura dishes but what made this different from other places is that it had a yakiniku station and a teppanyaki section. Carvings had a choice of lamb, chicken, and prime rib along with bbq choices like chicken & beef skewers. Italian section had freshly baked pizza & pasta. Chinese had dimsum like siomai, chicken feet, and spareribs. They had steamed rice topping (spareribs) & also had a noodle section with various meatballs/fishballs topping. As atong ang said..their chocolate fountain is very good (the best in my opinion) rather than using dark chocolate like phil plaza & circles..they use milk chocolate which isn't that sweet nor was it bitter. The churroz & maccaroon were just divine when drentched with the chocolate. Other desserts also include crepe, ice cream, and the usual cakes. Sayang walang souffle like circles.
This place is well worth the P980++ they charge for dinner. Very good indeed.
