  1. Sabi nga ng doctor: You go to bed with a person and you go to bed with the persons he/she slept with for the past ten years.

According to ob-gynes, women who have multiple partners run the highest risk of getting a venereal disease. Women who go to bed with men who had multiple partners also run the risk of getting, among others, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), which can be a precursor to cervical cancer.

So kung marami kang partners, marami kang risk na magka STD.

    Be safe or be sorry.

  2. pero matapang yun diba ??? ii used to smoke tobaccos ...matapang.. masakit sa dibdib ..,..

I started smoking when I was 16, but 3 sticks a day. When I quit after more than 15 years, I was averaging 2 packs a day. I have not touched cigarettes after over three years, and I just smoke cigars.

Sa cigars dapat hithit-buga ka. Yung parang minumumog mo ang usok, letting it play in your mouth. Hindi masarap ipasok sa lungs ang cigar smoke. This is why the cigarette companies put so many additives and chemicals into cigarettes, so they will taste better and burn faster. With a cigarette, even if you don't puff it, it burns on its own. A cigar or a pipe, on the other hand will stop burning if you don't puff on it. All the more reason why I don't smoke cigarettes.

Don't inhale the smoke into your lungs. The best way to enjoy cigars is to quit smoking for a week, then smoke a cigar. A cigar is not like a cigarette. A cigarette gives a quick fix when u are under time pressure, while a cigar should be savored and enjoyed. For example, after a hard day at work, curl up with a drink and smoke a cigar. It should take you about half a hour to finish the cigar. You can ask the people in the wine thread, kasi, mga cigar smokers ang iba dun. Another reason why I like cigars is I don't feel the pressure to smoke even after a meal. I can go for a day without smoking a cigar, unlike cigarettes where I always felt the need to light up. I was able to quit cigar smoking for five months, without the nervousness and irritability I experienced when I quit smoking cigarettes. Some people (cigarette smokers included), don't like the raw, natural smell of cigars.

  3. This is a good thread. Also, maybe we should involve our girlfriends/wives in wines, and help them appreciate wines too. But it is hard for me to explain the finer points of wine to them since I am not that knowledgable. It is also good if we had a WEB (wine eye ball) instead of a SEB.

It should be an orgasmic experience for them too. Besides, wine is more romantic than getting your date drunk on San Mig Light. If only champagne was cheap I'd be drinking it all the time.

Ako din naman, I drink what tastes good to me -- whatever vintage, whatever, year from nearly every country except China. I know what I don't like - table wines and mixed wines which taste like sour grape juice.

Masarap ba yung China wines? Mura sila. Siguro lasang champoy. :boo:

  4. Matatamis ang riesling di ba? And they are white wines. Naku may hangover ako sa white. Pero di bale , will see kasi libre naman.

Ang supertamis na german wine ay trockenber spatlieze. Tama ba spelling? I think this is their ice wine that the other guys mentioned. They let the grapes sit on the vine to accumulate sugars, and they harvest the grapes pag may konting yelo na. This I can drink.

BTW, malapit na pasko. German drink Gluhwein (hot wine) during christmas.

Here's a recipe for you wine lovers

    Gluhwein Recipe By :

    Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    -------- ------------ --------------------------------

1 cup Red table wine (not the cheap kind)

    1 small Piece lemon peel

5 teaspoons White sugar -- or to taste

    1 small Stick cinnamon

    1 Whole clove

Combine all ingredients and heat, barely to boiling point. Pour into a

pre-warmed glass, wrap glass in a napkin, and serve immediately.

Guaranteed to make you a hit with the girls and with your friends.

  5. I forgot to ask: Has anyone tried a hookah? Someone told me that have one in Jerusalem restaurant along makati ave. It was P200 a pop. Masarap ang cherry flavor. For those who don't know a hookah is a Turkish/Middle Eastern pipe, like a flask, with a container for water, to cool the smoke before you inhale it.

    OFF-TOPIC

A person swears by the taste of the hookah which is far superior to cigars and cigarettes. I think they previously used the hookah in Turkey to smoke hash-hish (i.e. hash). Hence the words "assassin" which was derived from the word "hash-hishin" - or a warrior who got stoned before he attempted to k*ll someone.

  6. Ok bods. Hope you enjoy your first cigar. Pero tama si Masi. Try the chocolate caprichos. I occasionally smoke Tabacaleras since I found Cubans a tad expensive (fiscal crisis and all). I especially like Romeo and Julieta, and a friend of mine let me taste Padron (from Nicaragua). Both are excellent but expensive.

Anyway baka mamatay na si Castro magiging bukas na uli ang Cuban economy.

    Prosit!!!
