Masarap sa Seoul Garden sa Libis. Korean food. Not cheap... pero not too expensive naman. For me, it's value for money.

Circles (Shangri-La Hotel) - it's debatable but I think they serve the best buffet in Makati. A little bit on the expensive side, but should be experienced at least once.
Yes, it's not cheap, BUT you get what you pay for (high-quality and clean food, excellent service, good ambiance) naman.

Katre (located behind Alfredo's) serves really good food. So does UNO (behind Little Asia), though nag-deteriorate na ng konti food nila.

Coral Garden is a good place for chinese food. Medyo luma nga lang na yung lugar. It's along Banawe, right before you reach E. Rodriguez. Nalimutan ko na yung name nung food, but order yung noodles nila na binubuhusan ng sabaw and fried tofu. Hehehe...

"Inday" or "Manang" could probably cook eggs better than they can. Hehehehe... I think gusto nila kumita ng masmalaki, kaya medyo di na ganoon ka-ok yung quality ng food nila (not like nung bagong bukas pa lang sila).

This second one is by Gerald Gan. Dubbed as the supermodel of cheesecakes by dessert enthusiast Lori Baltazar (the photos were taken by her)-- pure cream cheese seductively melting in your mouth (eat at room temp)! 8"round for PhP 800, you can email him at raiyfe@yahoo.com for your orders.
Natikman ko na po 'tong cheesecake na recommended by Lipsitck awhile back. Tagal lang bago ako ulit naka-post for my "review".
The best po 'to so far sa mga natikman ko. It melts in your mouth, and the slightly tangy and sweet taste lingers in your mouth flowing layers of heaven.

Emerald sa Roxas Blvd. ang the best for me.

any of you guys tried the restaurant located at don bosco makati facing makati cinema square just below the skyway overpass? sarap ng pizza dun. talagang authentic italian dahil italian yung chef nila.
So they only serve pizzas with VERY minimal toppings? Maybe some mozarella, basil and tomato? A little sausage and mozarella? Maybe authentic anchovies, olive oil, herb(s) and garlic? How much price nila?

L'Opera in The Fort. Hands down one of the finest restaurants in the Philippines.

Mura nga, but you get what you pay for naman (pathetic food).
Not to mention na masamarami pa choices, and mas-ok ang service.

Food Channel or Mister Kebab for the best shawarmas.

Check out the Plain Cheesecake from Aldyn's Culinary Delights. Home-baked. The best I've ever tasted, hands down. Medyo pricey lang at P800 per cake (8"). You can check out their site at http://cusineroge.blogspot.com if you wanna see their other products.

Sa mga cheaper steak houses naman, pangit yung quality ng beef kaya mura (the flavor doesn't come from the beef na, but from the gravy). Mas-ok pa rin just to cook at home either via pan-frying, grilling or broiling. AND alam mo what exactly goes into your food and sauce. Besides, it takes 5 minutes to cook a good steak (marinade time not included) compared to waiting 15-20 minutes for a sub-par one.

Can someone give more detailed instructions on how to get to Gulliver's? Thanks!
As for steak recipes, I would suggest not adding salt until about 10-15 minutes before you cook the steak as the salt will dehydrate your steak, absorbing some of the juices that would otherwise help flavor your steak. Basically, you can't mess up steak (other than adding salt too early) regardless of your marinade.
Kung kasama mga out of the country, yung Omaha Steaks the best. Super lambot at super juicy. Walang kapantay. Kung within the country, it used to be Tender Bob's before it moved to Greenhills. I think they might've changed chefs because the quality of their food has deteriorated drastically. Ngayon, probably Melo's na. Hopefully, I can get to taste the steak at Gulliver's soon para ma-compare ko.

Sa Everything at Steak... they basically just take a miniscule amount of meat, and pound it into oblivion para lumaki. Not even worth P50, more so P120.
Minsan, mas-sulit pa to shell out big bucks for a good piece of steak than to go cheap and buy a tortured piece of local beef.
