SUMMMARY

Responsible for preparing customer documentation for highly configured telecommunications products. Accountable for delivering high quality documentation within established project deadlines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Creates, drafts, edits arid publishes documents designed to explain the installation, operation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment for primarily external audiences.

 Reviews, revises and publishes existing documentation.

 Works closely with Marketing, Manufacturing and Customers to develop products within the Life Cycle Management process.

 Manages multiple projects simultaneously and prepares; project plans and timelines, obtains necessary resources and resolves issues to ensure on time completion of all projects.

 Consults/interacts frequently with technical staff to ensure accuracy of documentation.

 Maintains new and existing documentation for continued relevanc~ and accuracy.

 Validate information to ensure accuracy of written materials and supplied information

 Wilt prepare illustrations, photographs, and diagrams for use: in customer facing documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

 Technical Degree in Engineering Discipline with 2+ years current experience in hardware technical manual development is preferred.

 Must be proficient with Adobe FrameMaker and Illustrator tools,

 Ability to read and interpret wiring and schematic diagrams prefer~,

 Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently,

 Ability to forecast completion dates and willingness ~o m~ deadlines.
