I agree with the post of most people here, even if you want to stay away from the person you love, you can't. Your love for her will pull you back again and again even if you know that it will bring you nothing but pain and suffering. No matter how you rationalize and even if you realize that there will be no happy ending for you, you will still be there waiting and ready to do anything to make her happy. A cousin of mine is in this kind of situation and it has been 10 years now and he is still in love with the girl and cannot leave her. He can live with the suffering brought by his knowledge of the fact that his love will never be reciprocated but he is not yet prepared to live a life away from this woman. How sad.
