  1. the silver one, san po ung time trend?  if you still remember, san pa pong stores meron nito kasi nagikot ikot ako, sa washington at multi time ung 660 lng meron at sa chronos walang tissot (at medyo overpriced sila)?

bro meron watch store sa ground floor ng podium that carries tissot. i just forgot the name of the store...then yon sa shangrila naman, it's no curfew that has tissot collection.

  2. any experiences on ordering watches abroad from sites like amazon, ebay, etc?  im sure many here would like to do the same but are hesistant due to the extremely corrupt postal and customs system locally.

my sister had ordered several seasons of dvd box sets from amazon several years ago. that was the time when sex and the city was too hot. she got it from amazon. unfortunately, we were harrassed at the postal office when we claimed the parcel. we we're insisting that those were for pesonal use but they wouldn't listen. we ended up paying a ridiculous amount of fee.

too bad even pmwf have on their site the line "No shipping to South Africa, Middle America, Southern America, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and all countries that are considered to have "strange" custom procedures. Thank you for understanding!"

  3. dennis i've seen some of those orange seikos in L timestudio...very interested to have an orange monster in rubber strap....pang swimming this summer....do u know how much it is and where we can get it the cheapest?

  4. padre,

aside from chronos in megamall, any idea where else they sell hamilton watches? was reading my fhm and they featured 3 watches from hamilton, got to fancy the 3rd one with the khaki strap, just forget what it's called. also, any idea on how much hamilton watches cost? ballpark figure ika nga. ;)

hamilton....an american brand in the watch industry under the swatch group together with tissot, rado, mido, etc. they are available also at watch forum in glorieta. they have a khaki multi touch that is very much the same with feature of tissot t touch. don't know the price range though. i guess it's a little cheaper.

just to give you an idea.....

  5. all watches are significant! that's what this thread is for, right? personally, i like the seastar though.

yes the timepiece in question is priced at 119 US dollars. it is not a real panerai but just a "homage" or to put it more bluntly an imitation, same style different brand as opposed to fakes which copies the style and the branding.

you can post pics from your desktop. when you make a reply you will find at the bottom of the screen a part where it says attachments. click on the browse button and look for the filename of your pic. click add this attachment and then you're good to go!

    so ganito pala yon....

    well then...

my t touch looks like this...

    thanks dennis

  6. sorry but quite ignorant with this panerai thing. does the 119 usd refer to the price of this timepiece???

nothing so significant bout my t touch.  it just basically looks like this...

ooooops!!! how do i post pics here? can it be done in while the image is stored in my desktop or i have to post it somewhere pa coz i noticed that images posted are closed in tags which has url's in them.  this may be a lil off topic but would appreciate help.  thanks.

  7. sorry folks....wrong info....

its no curfew pala that's carrying mido not time depot as previously posted. time depot pala carries suunto while no curfew takes some brands from the swatch groupm (rado, tissot, mido to name a few).

they have this store in podium....i just forgot the name...its at the ground floor near the entrance....they have a wide collection of mido watches which imho are nice timepieces as well

sir atong mido watches are being carried locally by time depot...together with rado and tissot along with other quartz watches.  i have known these since i got my t touch which happens to be distributed by timeline in binondo. i just wouldn't be sure if they are also the authorized dristributor of mido...price range of different models i saw 20 - 80k

  8. how much do mido watches cost and which dealer carries them?

does orient have sapphire crystals too?  how about the sub you bought?

  9. I used to go to Alex Carbonell in his old shop at the Atrium. Then he went and got big time and expensive... so I moved to

Salon de Manila in Greenbelt where for the longest time, Salve cut my hair. When I moved offices to Ortigas, it became nakaka tamad to have to go all the way to Makati for a cut so I found  a stylist in David's Mega (female, long hair, name escapes me at the moment) ... then when Fix opened at the Podium, I tried it and ended up being a regular there til I left.

Now, if im in LA, Tita Ludy of Dylux cuts my hair. Here in Tx, its Ms Kim of Hair by Tony's... the language barrier kills me though. Shes Vietnamese and its tough explaining what I want her to do to my hair

I've heard of this Salon de Manila. My sisters used to go there. Their staff are really, really good. And most of the times, the owner is acknowledged by celebrities in different shows.

  10. and with the proliferation of big watches nowadays, all you'll gonna get are 2nd, 3rd glances on your wrists. gone were the days when youll hear comments like....."pare ba't may kuntador dyan sa braso mo?" :thumbsupsmiley:

  11. masi,

paneria....lucerne has already, i know they got the franchise to sell it last dec.

    diakhammer,

nice doing business with you, got the watch already. ;)

sir, it wasnt't me who you had business with. twas a friend na nagpatulong magbenta thru this channel...i heard nga na it was a smooth transaction. thanks sir.

  12. along with poljot, it has long been up there on the wishlists of many watch enthusiasts.

and someone who frequents this thread might be the next person to have one......very soon! :thumbsupsmiley:

sir...you know who you are!

  13. mga watches ko from high school to college either nasira or napamigay ko na. mostly swatch & guess watches.

watches i have now bigay naman sakin:

    - casio g-shock metal edition

    - suunto observer titanium

if given ng budget, id like to buy either rolex explorer 1 or cartier santos. simple and classic looks lang.

by the way, san pwede bumili ng second hand na mga ganito?

manila watch exchange hyatt or glorieta 3 (in front of landmark).

gallerie des temps (not sure bout the spelling) 2f shangrila makati.

    secondo 2f glorieta 4.

  14. i don't know if posting of numbers for this one is allowed... but it'll be better if address and shop contact details will be mentioned too.

me...i'm sporting long hair now...used to have my hair cut at kevin's cut in front of la salle....chanced upon former justice secretary perez having his bigote trimmed a long time ago.
