  1. I'd have to agree with that. Not only are they the best, they are enforced. Some dont's: - Don't roll through a stop sign. Full stop with 1st to stop/1st to go. - Don't go beyond the white strip at stop signs or traffic lights.. - If you're going to change lanes at a red light, to it well before the painted lane divider.
  2. It depends on what you like. There are lots of ethinc choices; Filipino, Italian, Japanese, Seafood, American, fast food, etc. Texas Joe's is excellent for BBQ and steaks. On Saturdays they have a Prime Rib special, but you need to book as it's very popular. In no particular order: - Harbor Pointe Mall has many choices. You can check them out online In Barrio Barretto (the first Barangay going North and about 6km from the Kalaklan exit, there are two of my favorites: - Wild Herbs. The most authentic Asian menu around with offerings from Thailand, Singapore, India and, of course the Philippines. Prices are very reasonable - Sit n Bull. The longest operating restaurant and largest menu in the area. Portions are very generous and it's on the low end of the price spectrum. They offer Mexican, American and Italian (including the best pizza around), a huge Filipino selection.
  3. That is not correct. Angeles has more offerings, but there are massage services available in Subic (Olongapo and Barrio Barretto) .
  4. I took a quick look on Google Maps as I've not heard of Sta. Teresita. It seems to be located on the North East coast of Luzon. I've heard The Area is located in Angeles City.
  5. 3. Your location, please?

  6. My apologizes, I read your message wrong. ABC is in Angeles City and, as you said, is very popular with Western tourists. Their rooftop pool can be a lot of fun. I was thinking Central Park in Bo. Barretto. It is, for the most part, Asian. That's not quite correct. The majority of guests are from Korea, China and Japan. The Western tourists tend to go to the smaller hotels.
  7. Very reasonable. Pretty much the same as S and R and Landers.
  8. Actually, there are 3 Duty Free shops; Pure Gold and 2 Royal. You'll be amazed at how well stocked they are. While they are called Duty Free there's no restriction on using them. Imported items are priced in USD and local goods in Php.
  9. Another 'don't miss' is Wild Herbs. It's all Asian. Great service and atmosphere. http://wildherbsrestaurant.com/ Sit n Bull is also good. Nothing fancy. It's been there 15 years. Huge menu with extensive Filipino offerings plus Mexican, Italian and American. Very reasonable prices with large portions. https://www.facebook.com/p/Sit-N-Bull-Restaurant-PreOrders-100070340290453/
  10. That is so true. There are enforcers spaced all around SBMA. They, for the most part, are not negoiatable. You MUST stop at all stop signs and behind the line. Watch you speed. They have radar. Don't switch lanes close to an intersection, etc.
  11. English, but my entire education was in the US.
  12. I thing this place has happy ending, but am not sure about ate. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Goldtree+massage+(spa)/@14.8212123,120.2452105,14z/data=!4m10!1m2!2m1!1smassage+sbma!3m6!1s0x33967113e11a332d:0x95e53ef8a11ba016!8m2!3d14.8212123!4d120.2812594!15sCgxtYXNzYWdlIHNibWFaDiIMbWFzc2FnZSBzYm1hkgELbWFzc2FnZV9zcGGaASNDaFpEU1VoTk1HOW5TMFZKUTBGblNVTnpNM0JMUVVsbkVBReABAA!16s%2Fg%2F11r8frpz2?entry=ttu
