what a cool thread! so where are you guys? kasi im trying to get into fitness myself. ako naman, ive been doing the cosmic/rpm cycling for a few months now, tapos a bit of weights (no direction nga lang) and no dieting. im about 190 i just want to lose about 10 to 20 lbs and have some form. what should i do?

  3. I took my MBA in UP Diliman during the late 90's. there were two choices: full time which is a little less than 2 years and part time which will take 3 years.  As to whether okay o hindi, it depends on which courses and professors you take. Some of the lecturers are just a waste of time.

The Masters in Finance course was just starting during my MBA. It is really meant for people who are planning to have a career in banks and other financial institutions. It is harder than an MBA especially if you are not mathematically gifted.

I just graduated from the UP MBA program. Ok naman sya, not very tough (sorry mga tsong, di naman nagyayabang, I was thinking kasi na it would be "tougher"). I took finance related courses mostly kasi I thought di naman ako malilinya sa human resource or marketing management kahit kailan. Ang mahirap lang noong una yung schedule kasi pang-gabi tapos may cases at assignments. Pag first year di mo pa alam kung pano takbo ng klase at di mo pa kilala mga kaklase mo, di mo pa malalaman kung kanino ka magji-jive at kanino ka maiirita hehehe.

Yung finance "tougher" in terms of focus katulad ng sabi ni lurker, kung wala kang mathematical inclination. Pero it is worth it. Hindi ka man mag-land ng better job agad, makakapagbasa ka naman ng business page ng dyaryo at maiintindihan mo kung anong sinasabi hehehe.

  5. well i trade stocks.. and basically i have employed a technique (which is my secret) to pick the best stocks.. and it works for me.. its not written in any book or in any documentation..just pure trial and error and experience what does it form me..

i actually lost in stock trading after reading the kiyosaki book.. so my suggestion.. DON'T always follow it.. actually the book is just a guide.. kiyosaki says buy speculative stocks..oh yeah right!  easier said than done.. then afterwards your money is gone..

kiyosaki says.. buy real estate from the bank..its cheaper.. oh yeah right.. here if you buy an apartment that was foreclosed by the bank the apartment has already been chopped to pieces by the previous tenant.. and you may actually have to shell out a bigger amount  to renovate that..

what applies to the US does not apply here in the Philippines.. try to follow everything in kiyosaki book and perhaps you will lose money and learn from your experience.. that is what Kiyosaki is trying to imply..

correct pare, in the philippines walang market efficiency. daming info leakages kakainis. btw, totoo ba na maglalabas daw ng IPO ang Mercury Drug?

  6. i read college books when i was about 6 or 7 years old. mga libro ng mga tita ko, so at an early age i learned about rizal (Philippine Insitutions), pepe and pilar (from my tita who was in gradeschool then), and some spanish. Then i graduated to history books (para sa history 1 and 2 courses). Looking back, i should have checked my tito's bag, siguro may porn dun hehe

  7. he is really good, sir. master arie na nga tawag ko sa kanya eh hehehehehe. actually i was expecting na yung shaving lang ang gagawin nya kasi yun lang naman yung main concern ko though napagusapan namin about action and intonation setup plus string buzz. pagbalik ng guitar sa kin, nakasetup na sya to its maximum playing potential.

hangang ngayon amazed pa rin ako sa magic nya heheheheheheh.
