what exactly do you have in mind as a combat shooting course? there are classes in practical shooting in armscor, pb dionisio, and jethro dionisio. there is also a course a friend of mine teaches in subic. includes defensive driving techniques, etc. but the course costs an arm and a leg (last quote i heard was 150k inclusive of the rental of a glock, an m4, and a mp5.

I'm ok with the basics of pistol shooting, so I'm looking for more advanced training - in close quarters combat...tactical reloads, draw techniques, etc. I've had basic pistol and intro to CQB training, but that was with M16s.

It's like mcdonald's - nothing special on its own but comforting in that you know what to expect. I'm not a big fan of the quality of the coffee, but when I'm on the road its nice to go into a familar place, have a decent ('tho not great) cup of coffee and relax.

I have solid martial arts background - shotokan, a little krav maga - and would like to contact a good instructor. I go back home on a regular basis and will be there next week, and would like to contact someone for my next visit.

What i like to do is buy a nice selection upstairs at Fuma and bring them downstairs to Havana. I'm going back to Manila this month and plan to spend some quality time with some good cigars, drink, and pelasing company...
