  1. Sana po na resolve nang maayos ang inyong malware issues. Kaya lang if you did not change your computing habits, you will again suffer the pains of malware removal. If you want a more permanent solution, pwede nyo i try mag Linux. Me konting learning curve pero once na ma overcome mo to and you were able to migrate your work successfully, you'll have less worries about virus and spyware and your laptop will be more immune to attacks and threats from the Internet. Lalo na kung for home use lang ang computer, pwedeng pwede po any Linux distro na ma typan nyo. Linux Mint try nyo po. Para you have your cake and eat it too, i dual boot mo na lang ang laptop mo between your Windows OS and a Linux distro of your choice. This is what I did and very rarely do I use Windows now kung meron lang akong gustong i test how it will look or play under Windows.

  2. Dear computer users, let's all make it a habit to backup everything that we create immediately after creating them. In my own case, I write a lot of articles and the moment I finish writing one, I always back it up to the SD card on my laptop. Basta importante yung back up e wala sa loob ng computer like DVD disk or USB pen drive. If you're a bit paranoid, use 2 backup media say 1 sd card and 1 USB pen drive. Save kaagad sa dalawang external media once na ma create yung content. Kaya lang pag inupdate mo yung original, then update mo rin yung dalawang backups mo. Mabusisi but if something happens to your computer, doon mo mare realize yung rewards for your efforts. Sana po nakatulong.

  3. How about Microsoft Security Essentials? Microsoft says its FREE! Anyone tried this so far or any reviews from other members?

Daming free anti virus available ngayon like avast and avg kaya lang pag ininstall mo sa Windows refuse all their offers like toolbars and so forth mag custom install ka to be able to do this. Kung ayaw mo nito, pwede na rin gamitin ang Microsoft Security Essentials as your anti virus program for your Windows OS. So I just ignore it kasi may firewall na ang wireless router ko and my Vista firewall is also on at bihira ko na nga gamitin ang Vista kasi happy na ako sa Linux Mint. Basta keep your Windows always updated and keep your Security Essentials virus defs always updated. Use a router kahit isa lang kompyuter mo sa bahay para at least dalawa firewalls ang gumagana. Don't open suspicious email and don't visit dangerous websites. If you're using a Linux distro like Mint or Android hindi gaano delikado kasi most of the virus are designed to run on Windows.
