    So I guess it’s my turn, huh? Do I really have to tell this in the dark? It feels so… I dunno, high school.

     

    Yeah, yeah, I know, “The Rules”. Everybody tells a story, in the dark. Fine. Far as I know, this is a true story- happened to my brother when he was taking Medicine at the National College. You know, the one behind the mall in Ermita, attached to the Central Hospital? Yeah, that one. My brother and a couple of his friends were trying to get into a frat. To get in, they had to spend one night in the hospital morgue.

     

    Yes, Philippine hospitals have morgues. Where do you think they put the dead bodies? Where do you think the med students perform their dissections? Anyway, it was either that or get paddled or something. You know how frats can be.

     

    Anyway, so my brother and two of his blockmates have to pass the night in the morgue. Now the morgue is off limits to students so they had to bribe a security guard with Tanduay to get in. Once they’re in, Paco, one of my brother’s blockmates, tells them why the morgue is off-limits.

     

    Apparently it was fairly common for body parts to get “lost”. I mean, after a while, the med students are desensitized enough to be able to eat in front of an open cadaver, so it’s only natural that they’d start having naughty ideas. According to Paco, there was a Med freshman studying at her dorm. While she’s studying, the lights go out. What her blockmates did was to get a hand from the morgue and place it on her study lamp when the lights went out, coz they figured that’s the first thing she’d check. The were waiting for her to scream, then they’d put on the lights and yell “surprise” or something.

     

    So they’re all in the dark, and there are no sounds. They hear her fumbling around her desk and then dead silence. The blockmate by the light switch gets impatient and puts on the lights, and there’s his classmate, hunched over her study table, eyes wide open in shock, with the hand between her teeth. Yeah, she was biting it. They say she lives in a Mental Insitution now. So since that day the morgue is off-limits to students unless they’re being supervised by a resident.

     

    No, that’s not my story. Wasn’t much of a ghost story, no? So my brother, he gets a little antsy and lights a cigarette. Don’t do that, says Jepoy, the other blockmate with them. He heard a story about the last time someone smoked in the morgue. A bunch of med seniors were pulling in an all-nighter at the morgue, cramming for finals or something. One senior decides to use a corpse as an ashtray. He won’t mind, the senior says.

     

    And that’s when the corpse sits up and pulls the cigarette out of his mouth. Please, the corpse whispers, show some respect.

     

    True story, man, I mean, with witnesses and all. The corpse was in mid autopsy pa naman so when it sat up they could see right through it.

     

    Anyway, anyway. Around 10pm, my bro and his buds get caught in the lab by their Anatomy 101 prof. He doesn’t give them too much grief, though, since he’s from the same frat. He tells them they might even get lucky, and see the Hospital’s dirty little secret.

     

    Apparently, back when the Prof was in med school, back in nineteen-forgotten or something, the Hospital had it’s very own celebrity doctor. Doctor… Ramirez, I think. Yeah, that’s him, Jesus Antonio Ramirez. Right, the guy who dove out the window, yeah that’s him. He was from a farming family from Negros, and they were loaded. Old money that somehow survived the war. So this Ramirez gets the best education money can buy- the States, Europe, you name it. He was the doctor’s doctor. And he was a social butterfly, too. Made sure his face was seen at all the right parties, making all the right friends. “Star Doctor”, they used to call him. Sort of like Vivky Bello, but he did it without the boob jobs and tummy tucks. He just Knew People, you know?

     

    Although rumor had it that he had a “side business” that not too many people knew about. His specialty, they say, was making unwanted pregnancies “unhappen”. Back in those days, that was a pretty big Dirty Secret. That’s why he had so many “friends” in high places- more like they owed him for keeping their skeletons in the closet.

     

    Being young, rich, and famous, it was only a matter of time before he became stupid. Supposedly he got one of his nurses pregnant, and tried to convince her to let him abort the kid, so that neither of them had to bear the “shame” of having a bastard kid. Plus, obviously, he was in no mood to get married. And now this is the really big Supposedly- supposedly when he couldn’t get his way, he had her drugged, then did the abortion anyway. She died on the operating table, probably from the drugs. Ramirez was able to cover it up, and he came out of the whole thing smelling like roses.

     

    That’s when things got really weird. On any given day, Ramirez would break out into hysterical laughter during hospital meetings. On other days he’d start arguing with himself in the middle of surgery, waving his scalpel around. One day, during the morning rush hour, a couple of nurses saw him running down the Nursery hallway, half-naked and his hair a mess. His mouth was open as if trying to scream, but he didn’t make a sound. When he ran out of hallway he ran right through the window. Now the Nursery wasn’t always on the second floor of the Hospital. In those days it was on the Fifth floor, up where they have the doctor’s offices these days.

     

    It’s a true story, the prof tells my brother, because the prof was actually there, actually saw him swan-dive five stories. The story goes that every now and then they hear babies crying on the fifth floor (except, you know, there are no babies anymore on the fifth floor). Sometimes sobbing sounds are heard in the Ladies’ bathroom. And a couple of guards have seen Ramirez running down the hall, mouth open but not screaming.

     

    Now, you’ve got three young and stupid college kids who’ve just heard this spooky ghost story, what do you think they did? Yeah, they go up to the fifth floor, to check the story out.

     

    So the three of them are sitting on a bench outside a doctor’s office on the fifth floor. At about 3 in the morning, Paco wakes up, because he can hear someone crying. He wakes my brother and Jepoy up, and they can both hear it too – it sounds like a woman crying. But it’s not coming from the bathroom. Standing right beside them is this woman in a white hospital gown. According to my bro, she looked completely normal, no missing facial parts or weirdo eye movements, kinda pretty, even.

     

    Do you want to see my baby?, she asks. Before they can answer, she opens her robe and they can see right through her stomach into her womb. They can see the fetus hanging there.

     

    Then the fetus looks up at them, and waves. Now they’re really freaked out, and start running for their lives. While they’re running, Doctor Ramirez runs right past them, sprinting for his own life, mouth open but screamless. It think it was Jepoy who actually looked behind, and he saw this mini army of fetuses crawling on the hospital floor, right behind them. They didn’t see Doctor Ramirez dive out the window, but they heard the sound of glass breaking as they ran down the stairs.

     

    My brother shifted to Fine Arts two weeks later, and he refuses to even look at the General Hospital building. Jepoy shifted out to dentistry, I think, and Paco is sticking it out in Med, but he doesn’t stay after dark at the Hospital.

     

    True story, man, I swear.

    Fat Burners And Diet Pills

    Fat burners will only work if you also help yourself, you should eat healthier after losing weight and getting some exercise in your daily routine. Taking pills & dieting without proper nutrition / vitamins will only make you lose water weight and your skin sag.

     

    To those who really want to lose weight, you should detoxify your digestive system first, because a dirty digestive system fools the body into taking and storing more food especially sweets thus making you fat. If your digestive system is free from toxins unhealthy craving will stop and then your body will benefit from nutrients of the food you eat.

     

    Yes exercise and getting fit is the best form of fat burning but a little help can't hurt, just be sure that the products you will drink are bfad approved safe :)

     

    yes, nothing beats losing weight by changing your lifestyle, for life, you could take all those fat burners and diet pills but if you dont exercise or dont eat sensibly the right foods (high fiber, vegies, fruits etc) then expect the weight to get back again in just a few weeks..

     

    those fat burners are just plain good business and money earners for the sellers.. most of it just dehydrates you.. you are not actually burning the fat.. but you are losing so much water, thus the loss in inches and weight..

     

    exercise and getting fit is the best form of fat burning..  its like a domino effect, the more you exercise, the more conditioned and fit you become, the more fit you become, the longer you exercise, the longer you exercise, the more you burn fat and lose weight, the more you lose weight the longer and easier you exercise..  and you become a perpetual fat burning machine..  after a while you will notice that losing weight is not anymore your problem.. its maintaining your weight so that you will not get too thin is what your new problem will be.. i had experienced that.. even if i eat and eat. i still keep on losing weight..

    Besides Exofat that caused a small amount of discharges, I also used Apple Cider but it made my stomach very acidic :sick:.

    I want to share this article to all who needs to lose weight but finds it hard to do.

    Retreat House

    Usually kapag 4th yr HS samin may 3 days Retreat, para daw bumait kaming lahat bago mag-graduation. :) Dun kmi sa Mary Ridge sa Tagaytay, madami na kami naririnig na kwento na kapag retreat house/seminary/convent madami multo, kaya eto na naman ako si pilya, excited ulet makakita ng multo. First step ko palang sa lugar iba na pakiramdam ko, parang laging may nakatingin sakin, yung friend ko na malakas din ang pakiramdam parang namumutla. Describe ko muna yung dorm room, pagpasok mo isang syang malaking kwarto, na may 10 na malilit na kwarto sa loob, cr sa left side at may malaking pinto sa right side na sabi nila connected sa convent. Our teacher assigned 2 people each dun sa maliliit na rooms so there are 30+ of us left in the big room, kaya maingay kami, kwentuhan to the max tapos nagsisigawan pa. Bigla na lang yung 2 classmate namin na naka-pwesto sa tabi nung malaking pintuan, tumakbo sa tabi ko, nanginginig sa takot kasi sabi nila kumakalabog daw yung pinto tapos umiikot yung doorknob. Natakot narin kami lahat kasi nakikita namin na para bang nililindol yung pinto habang umiikot yung doorknob, nag-dasal kami lahat at mga 10 minutes tumagal yung kalabog sa pinto bago natahimik. Sinilip namin lahat ng nasa maliit na kwarto sa loob ng dorm room, lahat sila tulog pati yung teacher namin naghihilik pa nga. So Akala namin tapos na yung nakakatakot, may biglang kumatok sa maindoor ng dorm room, nagulat kami at natulala kami lahat, tiningnan namin yung pinto, naka-lock naman kaya hindi makakapasok kung sino man sya. Luma yung pinto na ng dorm room at mejo malaki yung puwang sa ibaba kasya yung isang kamay na maliit, yung isang classmate namin bubuksan nya daw yung pinto baka daw kasi si Father yun papagalitan kami kasi maingay daw kami, sabi ko silipin ko muna yung puwang sa ilalim ng pinto, natakot ako kasi wala akong nakitang paa pero sabi nila nandun pa rin daw sa tapat ng pinto yung shadow. Nagtakbuhan na naman kami palayo sa maindoor, dasal kami ulet hindi na kami tumingin sa main door, natulog kami lahat ng tig-3 sa isang kama dahil sa takot.

     

    Noong araw na pauwi kami, hindi maalis sa isip ko na tingnan kung ano yung nasa likod ng malaking door, para makasigurado tinali ng barkada ko yung mga kumot sa baywang ko bago ko buksan yung pinto, takot kasi kami na baka parang sa horror movies na hihigupin ako papasok. Hindi siya naka-lock yung malaking pinto, pagsilip ko nakita ko corridor ng dorm rooms, walang tao kahit isa, walang malaking bintana na pede panggalingan ng malakas na hangin para makalabog ng sobrang lakas yung malaking pinto, pero merong feeling na sobrang nakakatakot. Hinila na ako ng friends ko tapos patakbo na kami lumabas ng dorm room papapunta sa garden.

     

    After one week nagpakitaan kami ng pics namin nung retreat nagulat kami kasi isa sa mga picture ng classmates namin may bata na nakasilip sa gitna. Tinawag namin yung may-ari ng camera at yung dalawang nasa picture, alam namin ng bestfriend ko na 2 lng talaga sila sa picture, at impossible na yung classmate din namin yung nakasilip kasi 3 ft lng yung taas nung bata na nasa gitna nila. Pinarecopy namin yung pic at nandun parin.

     

    Story naman ito nung boys' section nung retreat nila, parehas lang yung dorm room na tinulugan nila. Sa kainitan daw ng inuman nila (ewan ko kng pano nalusot yung gin ha), meron daw pari na purot ang ulo ang lumutang mula sa malaking door (yung kumakalabog sa kwento ko) tapos bigla nawala.

     

    Sa 2 section lng may nagpakitang multo dun sa retreat house, siguro nga dahil maingay kami o dahil baka gusto nila maki-join sa kasiyahan.

    Madami na rin me na-encounter na kakaiba, pero eto n lng muna...

     

    Supernatural #1

    5 yrs old p lng yata ako nun, katabi ko matulog sis ko na 9 yrs old & yung tito namin. Around 4am, iniwan kami ng tito ko sa kwarto kasi manganganak na daw tita ko, isasakay nya lang daw sa jeep namin. Kmi ni ate, nandun lng sa kama nag-iintay, tapos may nakita kami na anino ng paang maliit, cguro isang dangkal lang na papunta sa kama namin. Natulala na yung sis ko habang ako hinihila ko sya paalis ng kama, nung malapit na sa kama yung anino, tumalon kami pababa tapos karipas ng takbo papunta sa sala. Sabi nung iba, yung katabing bahay daw namin, dati puro puno at may isang kubo na maliit sa gitna..

     

    Supernatural #2

    Nasa Quezon kmi nung kuya ko & his friends, magkahiwalay kami ng room, natakot nga ako kasi na upper deck kmi ng bf ko natulog at nasa ibaba namin yung pregnant nilang barkada. Bigla ko na lang narinig na may parang malaking ibon sa malayo, ginising ko bf ko tapos ginising namin yung pregnant nilang barkada. Sobrang takot kami nun kasi, sabi nga nila kapag malayo daw yung sound ibig sabihin malapit lang yung aswang, eh probinsyang part ng quezon yun kaya baka totoo. Buti naman walang nangyari cguro nagdalawang isip lahat kasi kami may hawak na kutsilyo :grr:

     

    Sa Quezon parin, dun naman sa room na tinutulugan ng kuya ko & iba pang barkada, meron daw maliit na tao, na takbo ng takbo sa loob ng room. Sabi nung may-ari ng cottage, meron nga daw nagbabantay dun kaya iniwanan namin ng food para hindi na sumunod sami pauwi ng manila.

     

    White Lady #1

    Grade 4 ako nun & indoor camping namin sa girl scout dun kami sa school nag-camping, bago kami matulog, as usual cr muna, yung cr may bintana overlooking sa faculty room, yung kasamahan ko sabi nya may nakita daw sya na naglalakad sa bubong ng faculty room, kaya pala namumutla syang lumabas ng cr. Tapos kami ng barkada kong pilya, tinatapat namin yung flashlight namin sa pinakalumang bldg sa school namin, sabi kc nung iba dun daw madami multo, may nakita kami umaandar na white, siguro tela lang or yung ilaw lng ng flashlight nmin pero nung off na namin flashlight namin nandun pa rin yung nakalutang na white, pabalik-balik sa corridor, hindi lang pala kami ang nakakita noon, madami na rin. Sabi nila meron daw kasi dati dun student na na-rape & pinatay ng janitor sa mismong school.

     

    White Lady#2

    Grade 6, girl scout outdoor camping namin sa laguna, naku pilya talaga ako :boo: Habang nasa campfire kami, binuksan ko yung flashlight ko kung saan-saan ko itinutok hanggang sa may makita ako na lumulutang na naka-white galing sa isang puno, sinundan ko ng tingin tapos bigla na lang nawala. Kinagabihan hindi na kami makatulog ng barkada ko kahit pa naka-bukas yung ilaw.
