  1. The freest way to love is to love without expecting something in return, Without expectation can lead to a more surprises. Pwede ding, the freest way of making love or to have a conversation personaly is to some stranger, who accidentally met you by chance in a road trip. Pwede kayong magkwentuhan ng kahit ano, pinaka masaya, malungkot, walang pipigil sa inyo at pwede ding hindi mag judge pero pwedeng magbigay ng opinyon. masarap ang mga unang pagtatagpo, madaming kwentuhan and sharing of experience then try to desire each other :-)

  2. Butch Dalisay for me, i've enjoyed reading his barfly column in philstar's lifestyle section since i stumbled upon it in 1997. The late Doreen Fernandez sa PDI is also a favorite columnist; her food travelogue is an insightful read .

I'm not really into the hard hitting opinion column writers like Neal Cruz and Doronilla, i should probably keep more abreast with current events :(

  4. What about Accept? (a German heavy metal band)

Genres they're into: Heavy metal, speed metal, power metal, traditional metal. rolleyes.gif

"fast as a shark", "balls to walls" ! what glorious anthems of defiance and individuality. accept is godlyke in my book

  5. i play music as a hobby, had a lot of free time before. bought a four track at pier and started recording songs in my room using a borrowed bass, my guitar and a zoom 123 drum machine for accompaniment, i eventually moved on to hard disk recording, now i'm down to a laptop, an inteface (zoom h4), a midi controller and guitar. i posted my musical doodlings on icomposition you can listen to them here :My link and have a laugh or two. :)

if its fun to listen to music, its just as fun to play it and sometimes more gratifying too even if you are playing to no one else but yourself. nowadays i rarely get to indulge in my hobby due to more pressing concerns. but i'd recommend music production as a sure fire stress reliever

  6. My most beloved OPM outcasts are as follows:

Juan De La Cruz Band in the 70s

The Jerks in the 80s and 90s

and....Radio Active Sago Project (and why not ?) in the first decade of the new century

  7. These are the songs that made me senti

    1. Tangerine by Led Zep from Led Zep III - one of the best choruses they wrote imho--made me emo when i first heard it

    2. A Few Hours After This by the Cure from Standing on the Beach Cassette 2- the cure's orchestral opus imho, i listen to it every once in a while and i instantly remember where i was and how i felt when i first heard it.

    3. Now We Are Free-Theme from Gladiator by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard from Dead Can Dance - when two great artists collaborate, the output is bound to hit home.

    4. Cremation by Lou Reed - Fernando Saunders' haunting melodies and Reed's dead pan delivery made me cry and also annoyed the hell out of me at the same time.

Didn't take much to make me emotional when i was young, now i'm old and jaded and tied to the daily grind of working for a living with laughable wages and benefits--kind of makes me wanna cry :(

  8. tabs are for people who dont trust their playing.

yup and i'm one of them, but tabs are waaay too much fun

at last super poster na ko bwahahahaha suck it newbies !!!!!! :thumbsupsmiley:

  9. Talk Dirty to Me

    by Poison

    You know I never

I never seen you look so good

You never act the way you should

    But I like it

And I know you like it too

The way that I want you

    I gotta have you

    Oh yes, I do

    You know I never

I never ever stay out late

You know that I can hardly wait

    Just to see you

And I know you cannot wait

    Wait to see me too

    I gotta touch you

    Chorus:

    Cause baby well be

    At the drive-in

    In the old mans ford

    Behind the bushes

    Till Im screamin for more

    Down the basement

    Lock the cellar door

    And baby

    Talk dirty to me

    You know I call you

I call you on the telephone

Im only hoping that youre home

    So I can hear you

When you say those words to me

    And whisper so softly

    I gotta hear you

    Chorus

C.c. pick up that guitar and talk to me

    Solo, chorus out

  10. lately it has been re-affirmed to me that :

    1. Human nature is basically ugly

    2. Money is far more powerful than either god or satan

    3. Office secretaries are the most evil members of any organization, with middle managers following a close second

    4. and that satan is alive and well in the corporate culture and that corporations are basically saying praise hail satan

  11. you've been listening to older razorback tunes.

it's also tough to compare the two since they're in different genres.

razorback is more classic/southern rock influenced - think black crowes, Foghat, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple.

wolfgang is metal through and through - iron maiden, metallica, etc.

very different in terms of song writing for both music and lyrics.

it's like comparing The Roots to Jay Z

i see what you mean, my point of reference was the first wolfgang album and razorback's hebigat sounds, the southern rock comparison makes sense though, curiously although i've always been a fan of southern redneck rock , i have never made that connection with what razorback was trying to do musically they always sounded like the maskara era juan de cruz to my ears, but then i guess they took their music to different territory like all serious bands tend to do.... its just that maybe i have not heard their recent work. thanks man ( 3 more posts to go)
