  1. I need both but there's a "science" to the order I use them LOL

My body wash is citrusy and leaves me feeling very clean and fresh. The body soap on the other hand would be something shea/honey/almond, and makes me feel very feminine, sexy sort of

So if I'm gonna go do chores I'll use the bar first and end with the refreshing body wash. And if I'm going on a date, for example, I'd do the body wash first and finish with the shea/butter/honey scent of the bar.

It's not really this complicated in real life, sa pagkwento lang parang wtf ang arte

  2. Tattoos invite opinions from opposite ends of the spectrum. People are either very much okay with it or very much against it. On my travels I get feedback from both, and I just respond accordingly.

A Japanese man I shared an elevator with was rudely staring, sizing me up, looking upwards and downwards. Seems like it wasn't enough for me so he had to say something. "Those tattoos are okay in your country?" He asked with a tone of a father scolding a child.

I looked him in the eyes and said, "They are perfectly okay for ME and that's all that matters."

You would think that tattooing is pretty common in Japan so they should be a little more open minded. But I quickly realized what he actually meant was... Is that sort of tattooing acceptable FOR A WOMAN in your country?

    Which infuriates me even more.

On the other hand I was on a train in Taipei, a country where people are not really that much into tattooing. (Or at least tattooing in highly visible areas of the body)

A serious looking man, muscles and all tapped me on the train. I thought, what the f#&k have I done now that's offensive. He said something but I didn't understand a word so my eyes probably spoke volumes of utter confusion.

He pulled up his sleeves to show off his tattoo, pointed to my tattoo and smiled.

Tattoo culture really should be nothing new - are we kidding? People from thousands of years have been painting their bodies in all sorts of ways.

But enough of the negative perception of tattoos because it's a very stupid battle in a society where it's acceptable for a person to stand next to you and smoke and give you lung cancer while it's taboo for you to suffer pain (on your own) while getting a tattoo.

THAT DOES GET IN MY NERVES.

  3. This is Joey Pang - possibly one of the most sought after tattoo artist in Hong Kong. The waiting period is something like three years and if you check out her portfolio, you'd understand why. I absolutely adore her work. Not sure if I would ever be tattooed by her. Hmmm... schedule and financials permitting, I hope so!

There are other artists who do tattoos in this style. I found a good one in Taipei and I'll most likely try him out for a small piece (my 4th!!) before I go full on with my back (hopefully!!!!) by her. :)

  4. Odesk has been both a blessing and a nightmare for an employer like myself.

I've had great contractors who delivered as promised - on budget, on time, and spot-on quality.

And then I've had contractors who were not half as good as their resume/feedback comments say. As soon as I find a contractor Bullshitting me with outrageous progress, i.e., that time a contractor spent over 3 hours coding the social media icons so they change color when you hover-really so simple, I call the bullshit. I do pay for the time, I'm not one to take advantage, but guess who keeps bugging me for jobs now? Cheating gets you small wins, but for long term success, get your s@%t right, work hard, work smart, and work with integrity.

  5. taking a leisurely walk around the Makati CBD on Sundays is the best :)

on weekdays this place is mad, filled with so much stress and panic

on weekends it's so quiet, you can almost hear the buildings talk

  6. Dear Friend,

Paawat ka naman, friend. You are "too available" for him, "too present". Di pa nga kayo eh super dikit na araw-araw, gabi-gabi. Bakit ka pa liligawan if he can already get the best of you like this? Magpakipot ka naman ng konti, friend, magpa-miss ka naman paminsan-minsan. I can tell he likes you pero pag ganyan ka, ummmmm baka magsawa yan. Sa lagay na yan baka ma suffocate yan sa 'yo agad-agad. Space, dear. Space. :)

  7. Dear Men,

Just because the pussy has a hole doesn't mean that the only thing you need to do to make it happy is to stick something in there. The task actually requires a bit more skill and yes, intelligence.
