If I can recall my first EB was held in Enterprise at Makati ...where I first met Macy and we are still friends until now I cant remember his handle in MTC but I know him now as Gerard ..he is the one who told me ..you and Macy will go a long way becoz we are both free spirited, I wonder where he is now ...so many people I've met a few I can still remember.. Eb's back then are fun full of laughter and people attend the Eb's to meet other people of course there's the hidden agenda of getting laid but most of the time we just spent the whole night talking, laughing and teasing one another or even getting drunk hahahah I've met a lot of good people and I would say no regrets with MTC I was able to discover my sexual side being mentored by Macy of course hehehe, there's a lot of things i learned from this site and I would say it enriched my personality ...I hope to bring back the old days or at least meet old friends again ....The PFG girls ...Elai is now based in Bacolod and happy being a mom ...LadyGame is happily married with kids ...Tina ..i have no idea what happened to her....to all those firends i met while Im active in MTC ..hope all of you are doing great ....

Has anyone used ASP.net? I'm currently using C#.net windows applications. I'd like to setup ASP.net in my PC and I'm wondering how can I go that? Thanks!

help po, nagcrash kasi laptop hd ko tapos ayaw na siya magboot pero nababasa naman yung hd pag kinabitan ko ng ide to usb cable.. problem ko, may gusto sana ako kunin na files sa isang user account pero may password yung account na iyon, may paraan po ba para makuha ko yung files na iyon?

well nasa hdd pa rin naman yung file so kung pwede ma set as slave yung harddisk na yun ma recover mo pa rin yung file. (unless ginamitan ng windows encryption, malabo na makuha un).

anyway from the top of my head here's what you could do.

#1.

try to repair windows first

#2.

try to reinstall windows without reformatting your drive.

#3.

if you really can't get windows to work you could do this as a last resort.

you could buy one of those USB-harddrive cases (around 400 bucks), remove the laptop harddrive and put it on the USB case.

plug the USB case on a USB port on a different PC and access it there.

chances are the ports are blocked either on your end or at the smart servers, try calling up their customer support and ask if they've blocked certain ports.

dude baka sa service provider mo na yan and sa area.  ganyan din ako minsan. may time na nag over the limit pa ako.  tiis lang talaga.

I keep getting Virtual Memory too low! I already ended up  uneccesary programs in the task tray and system processes .I am only running 3 programs.Mozilla,MSN and SKype and i usually get that stupid msg! Will buying an external video card free up some space in my RAM?

whoa, ok i doubt buying a new video card would solve your problems, i suggest running an anti-virus first to check if your PC is clean or better yet just reinstall your OS, more or less either virtual memory settings was changed or you have some nasty spyware/virus on your PC

what is asp.net machine? db isang language to? and why does it has its own user account sa computer ko? (named as it is) it is a limited account but its password protected....pero you cant login to it. havent deleted the account kasi baka may masira or something.

it simply means you have the .NET framework installed in your computer, the asp.net account requires it's own user account to work properly.

asp.net is more of a technology rather than a language (languages are visual basic, c#, c++, java etc.)

it's actually safe to delete the asp.net account since it's mainly used by IIS so you could host/debug asp.net webpages on your machine.

I Downloaded a 300 MB file,

First it starts off as 100kB/s then 80, then goes down to 50, then 20

ok, website bandwidth checking is never accurate. here's an example

your pc --> area servers --> PLDT servers -->singapore --> whereever routes --> CNET webpage.

your pc --> area servers --> PLDT servers -->pldt play webpage.

the routing from your pc to cnet might cause some lag, so as far as web bandwidth checks goes it's less accurate.

now for downloading that 300mb file it's called packet burst where you clicked on download and the server you're downloading from already sent the file but a bottleneck from your end prevents the file from getting downloaded so the packets would start to file up on PLDT's servers and the moment the bottleneck is removed would suddenly flood your PC giving you the download speed of 100kb then 75 then 50 etc... stabilizing at 20kbps which is your standard download speed.

anyway if your download speed is erratic 2 possible reasons are

1. the source of the file has maxed bandwidth and could only provide you with.. 20kb of download per second.

2. there's a problem with pldt's servers on your area that limits your bandwidth, best solution is to call their technical support to manually check your connection.

other times antivirus, firewalls, trojans, viruses might also be the one affecting your downloads (specially microsoft update which reserves 20% of your total bandwidth to update itself, turn this off after downloading the XP patches.)

hi! you can try upgrading your power supply, most probably hindi kaya PSU yung video card mo + 2 HDD. :D

try din removing 1 HDD and the cd-rom drive and any additional casing fans and check if it runs stable... if it doesn't downgrade to older drivers that your games support :D .

Biglang nagblackout yung monitor ng computer so binuksan ko ang casing tinanggal ko ang power supply then inilipat ko sa ibang computer nde gumana so sira pinalitan ko ng new power supply ayaw pa rin bumukas ang monitor, pinalitan ko na ng new motherboard finally may lumabas na sa monitor pero hanggang detecting ide devices lang stop na cya, so ginawa ko tinggal ko yung hardisk (a) pinalitan ko ng ibang hardisk ( tumuloy na hanggang sa normal na uli, question naapektuhan na ba yung hardisk (a) ko more than 2 years gaming use at nde na cya madetect, kahit ilipat ko yung jumper nya ayaw madetect pero pag ibang hardisk ( nadedetect? Naayos pa ba ito, paano machcheck kung sira na talaga kasi mukhang maayos pa visually.

hehehe medyo magulo ah ...pero the best way to detect for problems would be to remove every component na nakakabit say RAM, harddisk, Drives, Vid Card...try booting the PC with only the processor on and listen to the beeping sounds... if it beeps add another component

follow this sequence

1. BOARD/Processor + power supply

2. add ram

3. video card

4. harddisk

5. optional drives

as for the problems dun sa harddisk there's always a slight chance may nasunog sa loob or whatever (rare case) and sometimes it's so hard to see kung may nasira. I suggest adding it manually sa BIOS if it still doesn't work...sigh... 3500 na lang bagong 80gig 7200 rpm ngayon

Dali lang naman ilipat HDD kung mag-uupgrade ka.

 

40GB ok lang kung may CD-writer ka.

Hello guys, maybe someone monitoring this thread could help me with my problem.

 

I bought a PC 2 months ago for my computer gaming needs. There are times when I am playing graphics intensive games (i.e. Warcraft 3, Neverwinter Nights, etc.) that my PC hangs up and my screen blacks-out. I was able to play the game for awhile before it hangs up. The duration before it hangs up is intermittent, ranging from 15 mins to a couple of hours. But there would be occassion that I will be playing for almost 8 hours straight w/o it hanging up. When it hangs up, I usually reboot my PC and start playing again.

have u downloaded the latest drivers???? also check your PSU baka kulang yung power mo try upgrading to 450 watts, and lastly add some more cooling perhaps 2x 80 mm fans would be fine...
