To my special friend,

I loved you, but it feels like you only wanted to play with my feelings. So, I’m letting you go.

I met you during the last week of May 2024 and made several visits to the spa until the end of July. Before you left, I opened up and confessed that I loved you. From there, we became friends. After two months of chatting, you finally decided to meet again on October 8, 2024. However, that meeting didn’t end well. I was looking for romantic love, but you made it clear that you could only offer friendship.

We continued meeting several times until the end of December. Along the way, we shared some of the best laughs and, at times, the worst moments. We enjoyed eating together, sleeping together, listening to your stories, and simply being with each other.

But as much as I cherished those moments, I couldn’t help but feel that you were unable or unwilling to reciprocate my love. I’ve come to realize that despite everything, your feelings for me never became romantic.

With that, I have to let you go, not out of anger but out of acceptance. I wish you happiness and fulfillment, even if it won’t be with me. Take care always.
