  1. My younger sister had her cholecystectomy done last january,2007. I was with her observing the whole operating procedure, of course in my sterile scrub suit ( I asked permision from the OR supervisor if I could observe the whole procedure) ang tapang ko daw! Anyway, after the operation, i asked the surgeon who did the operation if what were the types food that my younger sister should be avoided since she had no longer her gallbladder. I was really shocked of him telling me that, my sister could eat anything she wanted. I was really serious in asking of it, but he just gave this answer "pwede kahit ano na kainin nya"... and went off to his next appointment.. Now, at present, lalo pa yata tumataba sister ko, balik naman sya dun sa dati niyang nakagawiang pagkain.. I am just worried since wala na nga yung gallbladder na i think panunaw or it functions as a strainer in all the food she eats.

    Questions:

    1. What are types of food that are to be avoided when one has cholecyctectomy done?

    2. What are the complications of not having gallbladder?

    3. Are there any advantages when one has gone through cholecystectomy?

    Thanks!

Mabango sya for the first few minutes... after 3 stops/stations, u'll get used to the smell.

  6. Dont eat in restaurant but hawker centers. Price is a big difference. Well there are also foodcourt in most shopping malls but a little

bit pricer than hawker centers but affordable.

Places to go: Orchard road for shopping. Go to Ion that connects you from one shopping mall to another.

Take the MRT that is the cheapest way of transportation that can bring you to Newton Circus hawker center. Holland Village.

Since it is Chinese New year, of course you should be at Chinatown. A lot of activities are going on there.

If you can afford visit Universal Stuidos at Sentosa, take the flyer or visit the skypark at Marina Bay Sands.

As to transportation taxi if your family is four, calculate whether it is cheaper to take MRT or Taxis. You will be surprised taxi can be

cheaper than MRT because you are paying for 4 people per train ride, whereas Taxi is a fix charge

thank you very much po , your a big help .... Kung Hei Fat Choi ! laugh.gif
