Isabelo Garden restaurant. It's somewhere in Marikina. A pretty secluded place and the owner herself cooks for her guests. Check it out here

salmon sashimi or grilled salmon

Gulliver's of San Francisco - IMO, best angus steak in town. This is along Makati Ave. located on one of the top floors of Great Eastern Hotel. The place is not as classy or romantic as one would expect and the service is not that great as well but the food won us over.

Emerald Garden - Salt and Pepper Crab
Peking Garden - Fried Pigeon
President's (Main branch and not the one along Salazar St.)

C2's tokwa't baboy is definitely a must try.

Yup, this is too salty. Matches well with rice though.

Guys, tagal ko na work s ortigas, ang siste di ko lam kung san tong BANCHETO(did i spell it rayt;not sure if it's the right name of the place)pero msarap daw pagkain yun.maglulupa lang ako dito sa Tundo kya pasensya na kayo.ano ba mga pagkain dun?
Banchetto. There's a wide selection of food. Rice toppings, burgers, pastas, barbeque, Sisig, isaw, takoyaki balls, siomai, and even lechon. Desserts are also available. You have to see for yourself as there's too many to describe. The one in Emerald has more stalls hence wider selection of food as compared to the set up in Pioneer. Hope it helps.

mga pards, ito naman tanong lang ... are there japanese foods you might consider as equivalent to chinese dimsums? recent menus from tempura, teriyaki boy, etc. show items that can be categorized as experimental (pardon the word) or daring.
Try nyo sir sa Octoboy sa banawe (near Retiro now Amoranto) at sa T. Morato. Masarap sa kanila Takoyaki at yung Japanese pizza nila (Okonomiyake) shrimp. Strictly speaking Gyoza might be the closest Japanese dish to chinese dimsum. If you're after authentic Japanese dishes go to Little Tokyo this is near Mile Long along Pasong Tamo - in front of Plaza Fair may parang Japanese grocery cum restaurant. Food is great. You can also try the different restaurants nearby. Most of them owned by Japanese. They have cable in Japanese language, comics and reading materials in Japanese. Their curry dishes are good as well. Try experimenting on the food you will find there, it is likely you'll enjoy the experience.

tama ka dyan bossing
sari sariling panlasa natin
ang punto ko lang:
karamihan kasi dito
ang basehan nila para
sa best dimsum ay dahil
eat all you can o may discount
Yung iba nga sa kanila bumalik din with their families.

hindi naman cguro porke
eat all you can ay
masarap na sila
Tama ka dyan but taste can be subjective really.
I want to add that Golden Bay Seafood Restaurant offers great dimsum dishes as well. They have promo I think on Sunday mornings - discount on dimsums. Ala carte style but they're a bit more expensive ...probably in the same range as Gloria Maris.

Try the dimsum at GOLDEN FORTUNE Quintin Paredes Binondo. They have an eat all you can promo of shabu shabu with unlimited refills of dimsum. Try the beef ball, you'll love it.

GOLDEN FORTUNE quintin paredes st. binondo - 2ND FAV FOR THE MONTH - 500 REG HOURS(9 TO 9PM) 300 ONLY FROM 9PM TO 1AM - MY TIME HAHAHA
my 2nd eat all you can resto for the month, good service good food
+1
Went there last weekend and indeed they have a promo from 230pm to I think 5:30pm and then from 930Pm to 12MN. We were there some 2 hours early for lunch so we did not avail of the shabu shabu with dimsum at their regular price of P538.
Shabu shabu with unlimited refills plus dimsum buffet (ala carte style). Unlimited orders of fried rice and noodles. All for just P338.
Will be back this weekend with the family. You should try this.

How comparable is this with Tong Yang or Yakimix? In your opinion, what makes this a good place to dine?
Can you rate in terms of the following (1 to 10 with ten being the highest):
1) Service
2) Food (quality, taste, variety of selection, etc)
3) Price or Value for Money
4) Cleanliness
Thank you in advance.
Tried this last weekend and all I can say is the food is good. Service is so-so. Priced just right. Cleanliness not that great because we saw small cockroaches crawling around (two small ones). Just to be fair, they're on the walls and not in the food. I guess it's high time they call in the bug busters. Btw, we found out that they're owned by the same group who owns Yakimix. Overall, we will go back and I'll make sure to bring my mom there once she's in town. Kids below 4ft are charged Php299, I think.

Mandarin Sky at Banawe(near orthopedic) has an ongoing promo for their shabu-shabu at dimsum, its 50% off at 9pm till closing.
How much is the average spend for a group of 4? Is their food any good?

Yakimix is the best value for money eat-all-you-can resto for me but if I want to spend, I'd go to Heat in Edsa Plaza.
I second the motion. Branches are in MOA, Morato, Macapagal and one newly opened in Greenbelt 3. Value for money and they normally come up new sets of cooked dishes regularly (every time we visit, they have new dishes on display). I prefer Spirals though over Heat because of its wide selection of dishes.

I discovered Caffe Ti Amo today at Greenbelt 5. It is across Mango on the ground floor I think. They serve good coffee and yummy gelato. Great ambiance and they have interesting embossed photos/images on their walls. I must say that their coffee tastes good.

Most likely it's how they cook it using high pressure burners and cast iron woks. Food tastes different when cooked this way. We went there last month and it was around 10 in the evening. We had generous servings of shrimp too bad they ran out of crabs otherwise we would have stayed until they closed. Just kidding My two nephews really enjoyed their dimsum. We did not bother to order rice as we all know somehow that it was going to be a long night. Less than 2k for the us 6 of us. It was a good deal and experience. The following week, my brother brought my mom there.
