If I may Sir, based on your comments and observation, i believe that your girl suffered from a sexual trauma in her early years. This is a common syndrome for most of these ladies in their situation. Not for anything else and no disrespect meant, but I bet this sexual trauma was forced upon her by a relative.

If you continue your relationship with her, she will eventually open up and then you will understand. And she needs to open up, if only to liberate her inner self from the harrowing experience, the guilt and low self-esteem when it comes to sex.

Once she does open up, your concern would have been addressed, and I am pretty sure that she will be better at it.

It's a complicated process, and it will take a lot of patience, timing and understanding on your part.

Good luck Sir. Am rooting for you to succeed.

  2. Paul Pierce never had a rating of above 88 in any video game ever, or so I think?

    0 time all-nba 1st team, 0 time all-nba 2nd team, 2008 Nba finals MVP, 8 time all-star.

so I say he is rated just fine. No superstar, but An all-star w/ debatable hall of fame credentials. I would vote No.

Kevin Garnett on the other hand rated a whopping 99 before, back in NBA games spanning 03-05 B)

    4 time all-nba 1st team selection, 3 time all-nba second team, 8 time all-defensive 1st team selection,

2004 season MVP, 2008 Defensive player of the year, 13 time all-star, led the league in rebounds per game for 4 straight years.

A lock for the Hall of Fame.

By far the more accurate assessment of the so-called TRUTH. I would also vote no in the HOF If given the chance.

See Mr. Eljuego and Mr. Buwitre? Even NBA Fantasy leagues and NBA 2k11 corroborate our take on your guy.

    Give it up.

  3. Sir Nathan, everyone is entitled to his opinon. You can lambast Pierce all you want. All I posted was that he was the main man in Boston's march to the 2002 Eastern Finals then a deluge of haters suddenly pop out out of nowhere. Whatever you say about Pierce, he was a Finals MVP which is no easy feat considering the caliber of teammates like KG and Allen. He is currently Boston's third all-time leading scorer after Larry Legend and Hondo. He will have surpassed Larry Bird and be the second all-time leading scorer of the greatest team of all-time once his career is over. Just like sir dencio, I believe he will make it to the HOF. I rest my case.

The deluge of haters actually came because you don't know how to respond correctly Sir.

Your reply above clearly shows our argument to be correct. Yes PP is finals MVP in 2008, yes he is 3rd all-time leading scorer in Boston, yes he may surpass the great Larry Bird in scoring, and yes he may be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. But that is precisely the point - he may be a scorer and an MVP, but he is simply a one dimensional player and clearly OVERRATED.

The problem is you people believe him to be a superstar, yet you yourselves could not even line him up against MJ, Kobe and LBJ. If he is not in that caliber, then there is no such thing as 2nd -tier superstar.

You are either a superstar or NOT.

By now, you should get it Sir.

  4. Just as KG and Allen need him. Hindi the most best player, Best player lang. Nasaan na ngayon si Antoine Walker mo? Sa kangkungan? Do you think MJ, as good as he is, could have won without Scottie? Ano pala nangyari at pumalya si Bryant nung game 7 ng NBA Finals. He got his ass saved by Artest and the refs. Oh not to mention Perk's injury.

It seems that you are really having difficulty getting it Sir. When we say fluke, what we mean is that Boston with PP as main man was a one season wonder with that 2002 playoff run that culminated in its elimination in the Eastern Conference finals by NJ Nets. After that season, it was a downward spiral.

Just take note-- 2003 -eliminated in the playoff semis; 2004 - eliminated in the 1st round; 2005 - eliminated again in the 1st round; 2006 was ranked 11th in the entire Eastern Conference; and 2007 was ranked 15th and last in the Eastern Conference.

Putting aside the issues on Antoine Walker, the arrival of KG and Allen in 2007-08, the downward slide of your fave franchise from 2003-2007 was anchored by its main man, your one and only TRUTH - Paul Pierce. I cannot for the life of me understand how someone who claims to be a superstar cannot be called overrated when he singlehandedly brought down his franchise from the cusp of the Eastern Conference FINALS to being ranked 15th in just 4 years, which by the way, was the TRUTH's prime years.

Perhaps Sir you should already wave the menacing gang sign that your idol brandished in the 2008 playoffs against Al Horford. You are running out of defense for your guy. wub.gif

  5. A fluke? Haha! What made you say that it was a fluke?

Have you not read the answer of Mr. RER Sir?

If not, we will reiterate - that 2002 season was one of the worst for the Eastern Conference. If you look at the teams who made playoffs, they were so bad that the finalist New Jersey, was swept by the LA Lakers 4-0. So bad that only two teams were able to register 50+ wins, the NJ Nets (52-30) and the Detroit Pistons (50-32).

Boston returned to playoffs for the first time since 1995 but after this season but afterwards, it never contended again until 2008. That Sir, is the meaning of fluke.

    Still don't get it Sir?wacko.gifwacko.gifwacko.gif

  6. PP led Boston to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2002 and he was Boston's main man then.

Oh yes Sir but that was a fluke more than anything else. And he teamed up with Antoine Walker then, with PP averaging 26.1 pts per game while AW was at 22.1 ppg. And after that, Boston went on downward spiral season after season until the arrival of KG and Ray Allen.

"The Truth" cant handle it alone.ph34r.gif

  7. ^^ Sir Nathan, thank you for such enlightening yet empty responses. It's obvious that your views are colored by some bias against the man. So I'll stop here.

And, by the way, before you give advice on looking up something on the internet, why don't you try it yourself. Specifically, look at the Awards section and All-NBA teams. :P

Touche' Sir . . . It is also quire obvious that you are a Celtic fan, or horrors of horror, a PP follower.

But let me enlightnen you further.

For the ALL NBA TEAM, you must be referring to PP having been named to the ALL NBA 2ND TEAM in 2009 and his being 3 time ALL NBA 3RD TEAM (in 2002, 2003 & 2008), while I was referring to the ALL NBA FIRST TEAM or more commonly known as the ALL NBA TEAM.

PP was NEVER named in the ALL NBA FIRST TEAM if you will, only 2nd and 3rd, and will never get past those ranks.

And add to that, in the 2010 rankings of current small forwards which is his natural position, PP is ranked only 7th, and players like Danny Granger, Andre Igoudala and even Gerald Wallace outrank him, not to mention Carmelo Anthony, KD of Oklahoma and of course, LBJ.

He claims to be superstar yet Gerald Wallace is better in terms of overall statistics? Naman!

As for the other accolades of PP, it only proves my saying that he is one-dimensional player as his claim to fame is only scoring records with one exception, his Boston franchise record of 9 steals in one game in 1999 vs Miami Heat, although he shares this record with the great Larry Bird.

So what awards are you talking about? His 3-point shooting championship in the 2010 All Star game? Oh puleeezzz?!!!

And the awards you are raving about are also the basis for my contention that PP is indeed an overrated superstar.

Perhaps by now Sir you, together with Sir Buwitre, can already distinguish the meaning of OVERRATED and UNDERRATED. If you still can't get it, I'd be happy to oblige you with some pointers.wub.gif

Better luck next time Sir. ph34r.gif

  8. ^^ Sir Nathan, since you seem like a knowledgable basketball fan, hope you wouldn't mind clarifying the ff:

    - How do you know that PP doesn't have the respect of his teammates? He does not Sir. The acknowledged leader of Boston is KG, and rightly so because KG is the leader who takes up the cudgels for his team, who has the authority and respect of his teammates.

    - How do you quantify whether a player is a good passer or defender? Sir, in basketball they have statistics. You don't know these? Or do I have to tell you that PP is nowhere near the top 10 in assists per game, or all-time leaders in assists, or nowhere near being nominated as defensive player of the year, ever.

    - In your definition, if a player cannot carry his team to the playoffs, that player cannot be called a superstar? Well, the media can call you a superstar if you can score a lot of points, but you will never be a legitimate superstar if you cant win. LBJ brought Cleveland to the NBA Finals and numerous times to the playoffs. Kobe was one game away from eliminating Phoenix in the 2006 playoffs. PP? Before the arrival of KG and Allen in 2007, the previous regular season record of Boston in 2006 was 24-58 which was the 15th and last in the Eastern Conference. PP was Boston's main man then.

    -

Would you say that a player who has been included in All-NBA 2nd or 3rd teams have limited talents? Of course, otherwise they would be named to the ALL NBA team right? That is why there is a ranking of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so forth. Was PP ever in the all NBA roster? I don't think so. Can he be named to this top distinguished list? No, because his talent is really limited.

Better too if you can provide proof to your allegations. They are not allegations Sir. They are facts. You can all look it up in the internet. Try NBA.com.;)

  9. haha. patawa ka naman.. eh isa nga sa mga underrated players si paul pierce. and how can you say overrated ung mama eh siya ung leader ng one of the top teams sa league.

I really don't know Sir if you know the meaning of overrated and underrated, and if you are a true basketball fanatic.

At any rate, here is why Paul Pierce is an OVERRATED basketball player:

Firstly, when we say overrated, we mean that most of us think highly of the player, or that he is elevated in a status that he does not deserve. You Mr Buwitre actually contradicted yourself when you said that PP is underrated yet he is the leader. When did an underrated player become a leader. To be a leader in the team, you have the talent, the skill, the authority, the credibility and the most importantly, the respect of your teammates.

Unfortunately for your PP, he only is gifted with the talent, nothing else, and yet he prides himself as a superstar and he thinks that he is in the level of KB and LBJ. But far from it. When KG an Ray Allen were still playing somewhere else, Boston with PP as its main man, is languishing at the bottom pile of the NBA. He cannot bring his team to the playoffs on his own. And he cannot even boast of superior statistics except scoring. He neither cannot defend nor pass well, and that Sir is what makes him an overrated player. If you want to be a superstar, you must be able to carry your team.

In fairness to PP, there is one dimension where he really excel - best actor in playoff series. Remember 2008 Game 1 finals versus the Lakers. Mr. PP had the audacity to fake an injury, be carried in a wheelchair, and suddenly, miraculously come back to the game. It was really a terrible ploy (although I will be the first to admit that it worked but still it was distasteful). He was trying to emulate the move made by Willis Reed of the New York Knicks in their 1970 Game 7 championship against the Lakers. Do you know that story Mr. Buwitre?

With this antic, and other immature stuff that PP is dishing every now and then (recently he shamefully tweaked LBJ via Twitter), he is in my book AN OVERRATED and EGOMANIACAL player with limited talents. Maybe someday he will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame . . . of the WWE.

    Now who is funny Sir?ohmy.gifohmy.gifohmy.gif
