overachieved talaga. Ballungay was supposed to be the man. He's very streaky. Buhat lang din talaga brilliance niya because Kouame was anchoring the defense so well. Good luck sa kanila next year because Tab's probably out the door.

I think the first rule of thumb here is to indicate that they're not imports. Rather, they're foreign student-athletes. Note that they are students first, athletes later. Needless to say, they should not be rid of any rights whatsoever.

If everyone here that is against this idea should think about the other side of things. Since we're in this basketball forum, people should see how it curtails the level of play. Just look at the current UCBL Tourney now. UAAP schools wallop NCAA schools by a wide margin, and they don't even have their FSAs playing.

Two points should be cleared from this idea: FSAs help Filipino ballers play to their strengths. Think of why a Carl Tamayo is playing a stretch four instead of a Rhenz Abando playing (at most) a four, when he'd be given opportune time to play a slashing wing in the KBL now. 

The other point is that if your be-all end-all for your collegiate favorites would be to wound up in the PBA, then that's on you. This is why the surge of players going to the KBL, Taiwan League, and J.League is massive: because the PBA is totally inept with its fixation on height.

I think that's the point: it's a collection of an inanimate object. People may not see the value of collecting legos or whichever toy it may be (e.g. value proposition, rarity, etc.), the same can be said about sneakers.

What would be oft-putting is if people try to buy sneakers and not wear them at all. I collected several pairs and I've worn (and worn out) each pair I had.
