i was going to buy that book at powerbooks during their sale, pero it wasn't available then... that's why i ended up with 100 years by marquez... i am still searching though for "memoirs..." and i won't stop til i get my hands on it...
the book is worth the trouble looking for it, i assure you, so good luck searching

i would also recommend jd salinger's "catcher in the rye"
...the rest on the top of my list are:
harper lee's "to k*ll a mockingbird"
(for the moral values it carries)
arthur golden's "memoirs of a geisha"
(best love story for me, great depiction of Japanese "geisha" culture - every
woman would love this book, i can guarantee)
thomas hardy's "tess of the d'urbervilles" and
charles dicken's "a tale of two cities"
(appreciate them simply for their being classic, and i also enjoyed the romantic
twist especially tess.., tragic love stories touch me most)
anybody here familiar with orson scott card (i hardly remember the name)? ive read his book "seventh son". i think its the first in a series of three. would appreciate it if there's someone here who would be willing to lend book 2 and 3.
enjoy reading everyone!

my passion is on having a coffee break at the end of the working day or anytime whenever i feel bored or tensed.. its a must for me, kahit gano kapagod or even when its already late. its my way of unwinding. doesnt matter if i have company or none as long as the place is nice. of course there's the usual starbucks or other infamous coffee shops where the many busy people always fascinate me. but sometimes it isn't practical to spend hundred bucks everyday for a drink of coffee <considering financial capabilities> but if u really want it, ud find ways to have it. im very thankful nga for the recent moving of our ofc coz there's this nice patio in at our new bldg where u can even bring your own coffee. ..just one of the things which makes life worth living

starbucks pa rin.. but there's also this segafredo at grinbelt 2; their coffee is a good try.. pro babalik at babalik pa rin ako sa starbucks.. hot cappuccino din pala ng mexicalli is also superb!

id go for "power of two" the lyrics might seem childish but of course ud have to read between the lines, at least its not mushy, and the rythm is cheerful

How Many Kids Would You Like To Have?

to start with, ang gusto ko bago pa man din ako mag-asawa settled na ang finances for my kids-to-be (ill keep my fingers crossed for that). 2 children is very practical considering the expenses of raising them up. i would have chosen it kaso i just love kids and two wont be enough for me. so i want to have 3 children. i picture them magugulo, fighting here and there but there will always be the bond that will tie them together, and later on they will develop to their own identities, comparing and competing, with different interests and trips in life. haay... i look forward to that time. but not expecting it happening soon.
