  1. For performance, rear driven wheels are better than front driven ones. That's the reason BMW still makes their cars that way and have not adopted the front drive layout. There is a better division of labor, so to speak, among the tires: steering to the front tires, and propulsion to the rear ones.

  2. Bigger (wheels and tires) are not necessarily better, at least performance-wise. The weight (and additional rotational inertia) of those huge wheels work against acceleration, braking, and cornering, even with the additional grip they offer. I remember reading about a Genesis coupe that they were preparing for racing: they changed into smaller wheels (from 19 to 18 inchers).

  3. Good luck to the Jazz. I must admit though that whenever this team is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the Stockton - Malone tandem. Well, that just goes to show how old I am hehe...

  4. There are so many good songs from the 60s...have been listening to some of the hits of that era recently...heard Ike and Tina Turner's Proud Mary. This was sung by Jessica Sanchez recently on American Idol

  5. I used to hate Dennis Rodman. But then he played for the Bulls, so I was for him 100%. I guess he's the kind of player you really hate when playing against your team, but love when he's on your side....

  6. At first I thought LeBron would eclipse Jordan. Better physically, and probably athletically as well. With his height and build, he has great moves. But last season's playoffs exposed him. Well, he's young, so he definitely would improve. But i am totally convinced that Jordan is still king Sorry Mike for doubting you..am doubting you no more, that's for sure!

  7. Diet and exercise. Doing 1000 situ-ups would not make you lose your beer belly if you eat too much. By dieting, I do not mean starving yourself, but eating sensibly, avoiding high calorie foods. Of course you could lose weight faster if you severely cut down your food intake, but it is not recommended, and definitely not beneficial for the body. Try to walk instead or riding, stairs instead of elevators. when done consistently, the additional physical activities would add up, and would increase your metabolism.

  8. I have a spare key in my wallet. What I do is to tape the key to a plastic card (like the one used for IDs). This prevents the key from moving around my wallet, and, more importantly, from accidentally falling out. You would not want to find out that your spare key is missing during the time that you need it the most!

I've experienced losing my key with no spare. Had to get a locksmith from banawe to remove the keyhole from the car door (fortunately unlocked) so he could make a key from scratch. Needless to say, it's such a hassle. So those without spare keys: be warned!

  9. I'm saving up have performance modifications to my car. There's a reason why people modify their cars. Remember that a manufacturer has to design something that would please the greater majority of the market for their car. And since people vary in what they want to do with their automobiles, no model can be perfect for all people. For people who place a premium on reliability, then they would tend to leave their engine stock. But for those who need a little more oomph, then engine mods are needed, even if they have to sacrifice a bit of reliability, noise, smoothness, etc. To each his own, i would say...
