Singer Porsche 911.
Old style, new technology.
Yes, Singer Porsche 911! I agree with you! I read about this in a magazine, and it looks awesome. I would love to hear the rasp of the air-cooled flat six...

For performance, rear driven wheels are better than front driven ones. That's the reason BMW still makes their cars that way and have not adopted the front drive layout. There is a better division of labor, so to speak, among the tires: steering to the front tires, and propulsion to the rear ones.

Bigger (wheels and tires) are not necessarily better, at least performance-wise. The weight (and additional rotational inertia) of those huge wheels work against acceleration, braking, and cornering, even with the additional grip they offer. I remember reading about a Genesis coupe that they were preparing for racing: they changed into smaller wheels (from 19 to 18 inchers).

Pistachio ice cream for me!

Good luck to the Jazz. I must admit though that whenever this team is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the Stockton - Malone tandem. Well, that just goes to show how old I am hehe...

There are so many good songs from the 60s...have been listening to some of the hits of that era recently...heard Ike and Tina Turner's Proud Mary. This was sung by Jessica Sanchez recently on American Idol

I used to hate Dennis Rodman. But then he played for the Bulls, so I was for him 100%. I guess he's the kind of player you really hate when playing against your team, but love when he's on your side....

At first I thought LeBron would eclipse Jordan. Better physically, and probably athletically as well. With his height and build, he has great moves. But last season's playoffs exposed him. Well, he's young, so he definitely would improve. But i am totally convinced that Jordan is still king Sorry Mike for doubting you..am doubting you no more, that's for sure!

Diet and exercise. Doing 1000 situ-ups would not make you lose your beer belly if you eat too much. By dieting, I do not mean starving yourself, but eating sensibly, avoiding high calorie foods. Of course you could lose weight faster if you severely cut down your food intake, but it is not recommended, and definitely not beneficial for the body. Try to walk instead or riding, stairs instead of elevators. when done consistently, the additional physical activities would add up, and would increase your metabolism.

Forgot to mention Greg's Hamburgers in West Avenue...

Italian Village. There was one along Q Ave, the other at Makati Ave. Great date place back in the day.
I miss Italian Village also. Loved their pizzas and pastas. I miss the ambiance in that place. But it's gone now. I also miss the more recent Trattoria Uno.....

I think the results of the past games would have been different if Jeremy Lin was still around. You guys agree? Any news about his place in the Knicks next season?

Petron Blaze 100...My friend's car has a japan surplus engine (modified 4agze), so it needs high octane.there is engine knock when premium is used. with the 100 octane fuel, no such engine knock occurs

gunmetal for me...Interesting that most posters prefer it over chrome...i never liked the bling effect, especially on wheels

I have a spare key in my wallet. What I do is to tape the key to a plastic card (like the one used for IDs). This prevents the key from moving around my wallet, and, more importantly, from accidentally falling out. You would not want to find out that your spare key is missing during the time that you need it the most!
I've experienced losing my key with no spare. Had to get a locksmith from banawe to remove the keyhole from the car door (fortunately unlocked) so he could make a key from scratch. Needless to say, it's such a hassle. So those without spare keys: be warned!

I like listening to rock music while driving -- keeps me awake...

Just finished rereading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. enjoyed reading it, that's why I read it again after less than a month....

I like Conrado de Quiros. Although one aspect of his writing style has become tiresome, he usually provides new insight on the topic at hand.

I pick the new Accord over the new Camry. the Honda is more powerful. But it doesn't really matter that much, as I can't afford it right now...hehe...maybe next week!

For me, it has to be the McLaren F1. Excellent design, from its center driver layout (+ 2 passengers!), V-12 engine amidship, low mass, etc, all in the length of a Porsche Boxster!

I'm saving up have performance modifications to my car. There's a reason why people modify their cars. Remember that a manufacturer has to design something that would please the greater majority of the market for their car. And since people vary in what they want to do with their automobiles, no model can be perfect for all people. For people who place a premium on reliability, then they would tend to leave their engine stock. But for those who need a little more oomph, then engine mods are needed, even if they have to sacrifice a bit of reliability, noise, smoothness, etc. To each his own, i would say...
