i think the relatively high toll is justified so long as the quality of the road is maintained. even if the toll is high, it's less wear and tear on your vehicle...

i dont have the guts to try this...

pldt has scheduled my "old analog" telephone line for migration to the nxgn line in my house... they cut the service last april 25 and haven't restored it since... both telephone line and DSL service. they restored that for my neighbors april 27 but have not restored mine as of this writing.

i also applied for their plan 995 landline-tel bundle for my office. they did hook it up after 3 weeks of my having paid the advance monthly fee.

i order regularly from ebay and amazon. paypal is available in the country for buyers but not for sellers (we can pay via paypal thru a credit card but we cant accept payment via paypal if you plan to sell anything). buying from ebay and amazon is usually ok as long as you check the feedback of the seller (for ebay). the higher the feedback, the "safer" it would be to deal with this person.

it is true as what was previously said that generally, the problem lies in our local postal service. if it doesn't get "lost", you would get heavily taxed. tsamba na lang if the package goes thru and straight to your door.

if you have the item shipped via EMS, it's faster but a bit more expensive, if it's dutiable, you'd have to pick it up at their office in front of the domestic airport. if you have the item shipped via Air parcel post, it goes to your local post office.

it's either a toyota corolla altis or a honda civic even though the civic doens't have a 1.6L engine in it's current lineup...

the altis because it's a toyota... cheap parts yet relatively good quality... just keeps going

the civic because it has higher resale value than the altis since there aren't any honda taxis...

the current model of the toyota camry looks good

european cars are great but the price of maintaining one is just crazy...
