I own a '97 Nissan Sunny 1.4L (GA14DE). It's been with me for 4 years and I've got no complaints Hindi ako binibigyan ng sakit ng ulo. Not to mention the good mileage I'm getting, around 11km/liter.

inuman songs? depende sa kainuman... pero kung yung mga katropa ko na magkakapareho kami ng hilig madalas:

- Eraserheads (dito pa lang magtatagal na e hehe)

- Rivermaya

- Beatles songs

- mga New Wave songs

- GNR songs

- kung ano man ang latest na sikat na trip namin kantahin

Pag medyo mellow na:

- mga acoustic love songs (James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Mr. Big, Harem Scarem, etc.)

Movie themes that are very memorable for me are the "Star Wars" and "Superman" theme music. Brings back memories hehe.

For soundtracks.. I like the OST for "School of Rock" (starring Jack Black) and "Maximum Overdrive" (that Stephen King novel-turned-movie)

I'd go for the Altis, spare parts are easier to find and cheaper to buy. And the resale value is also good.

I enjoyed listening to GNR, Poison and Warrant.

I saw an earlier photo of Pantera in the 80's and they looked glam too

Haven't tried that one yet.

 

Recently, what I did try on for size was the Snarling Dogs models. Tried them out in the store beside Perfect Pitch in Ali Mall. The store was not so big... can't remember the name but they sell quite a lot of the cheap items there. I was real surprised they carried Snarling Dogs which has been around for quite some time now.

I'm planning to change my guitar's (look at that IBANEZ GXR370 Silver Burst) bridge pickup as well with D'MARZIO but AUDIOPHILE is selling those single pickups for 2,800 already. WOW!!! :boo: How much would that be for a Double HB....

I got my Dimarzio from RJ Music Store at the Galleria about '96 or '97. The price then was Php 2,500.

The fastest I ever driven was about 140-145kph. It's not very fast by the standards of this thread but my car isn't really a high performance vehicle. By that speed, the shaking is already felt hehe.

I have a '97 Nissan Sentra 1.3L (GA14DE engine). It's doing around 12km/liter, matipid sa gas!

My all-time best first five:

PG - Magic Johnson

SG - Michael Jordan

SF - Larry Bird

PF - Tim Duncan

C - Shaquille O' Neal

All of them won NBA championships and Olympic medals. The question would only be on the issue of team chemistry.

I'd go for the Toyota Altis. Aside from having good km/liter ratios, spare parts are not that expensive and the resale value is not bad either

I bought it from RJ at the Galleria around way back '96. It was priced at 2500PHP I think. It was more expensive than the guitar I had then (a Sta. Mesa strat clone) hehe. Now it's installed in my Pacifica. I liked its sound because it fits the music I usually play (metal, rock or punk). It's a bit harsh for blues though.

I REALLY hate:

1. Boyband songs - all prefabricated stuff. Selling the image first before the music.

2. Revival songs by OPM "artists" - these are done just to sell their albums, because they don't have songwriting talents in the first place... and it seems there are no longer good songwriters in the industry nowadays. ugh.. pathetic. My God, they're even releasing albums without any new songs! Purely revival songs!?! What the ...?!?!

3. Songs written by Lito Camo - well, here's a composer. But there's a saying that goes like, uh, lahat ng sobra ay masama. Ang mga kanta nya parang sobra na. Lahat ng mga "artist" kuno na magrerelease ng album gusto sya mag-compose ng mga novelty songs nila for the quick buck. The novelty wore out easily.

Hey guys. I've been playing guitar since I was 14... and believe me, that was a long time ago hehe. This is actually my 4th electric guitar, but my first real one, considering all of my early ones were local imitations (I call them Sta. Mesacasters, bec. that's were I bought 'em) of the venerable Fender Strat. This one's a Yamaha Pacifica with a Dimarzio Super Distortion humbucking pickup at the bridge (a DYI job) with the stock bridge pickup move to the neck position. The single coil at the middle stay as is.

another metal head signing in! i mostly into old school metal (Iron Maiden RULES!!! Motorhead), thrash metal (pre-black album Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, etc.), hard rock bands (AC/DC, Thin Lizzy), etc. among others...
