Watched Evan Almighty on DVD...

It's a sequel to Bruce Almighty starring Jim Carrey but this time another Jim starred, in Jim Carrell of the 40 yr old Virgin movie hit. Morgan Freeman still plays the cool, witty and collected God.

Evan plays an ex-newscaster who was elected to Congress. He moved to this new big house and suddenly he receives packages of wood and ark building materials from a no-namer and the animals come in droves to his house and work. Things begin to be more complicated when he starts to look like Noah and that's when God asked him to build an Ark... Things get out of hand since it complicates his job as a congressman and his relationship with his family..

It was a so-so movie, no huge laughter or memorable scenes for me. Not worth the buck.

I saw Dennis Roldan the other day sa Citylyfstyle Spa in timog. We were inside the Steam Room with one of his friends.. Based on their conversation, mukhang born-again na siya... Still well-built pero heavy on the belly.

In case you didn't know he played for Gilbeys sa PBA long time ago for a season then nag artista. He was also elected Congressman then he was charged with kidnapping but apparently, napakawalan na....

DERAILED... starring Jennifer Aniston...excellent twists in the story.

I really foresee an exciting fight between Barrera and MP... When MP lost to Morales the 1st time, we can see the determination of MP to bounce back...but since then, he was unbeaten and thus lacking in motivation to prove himself since he is the No.1 pound for pound na nga... pero kung matalo si MP, may rematch ulit yan kay Barrera for sure, kita siya ulit mas malaki pera before he takes on Marquez for the belt...baka yan ang plano ni MP at GBP...magpatalo para may trilogy tapos in the end panalo din siya...

I just wish, he wins all the way para he can be called one of the greatest... He can campaign sa 135 lbs after...I think may tulog pa din mga kalaban niya dun...

Haayy Manny, I just hope he straightens his act before it's too late...

Rush Hour 3 is one of the worst films of the summer. It's boring and their formulaic style of comedy doesn't work the third time. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I didn't find it boring though. It was still entertaining and never a dull moment with the fast paced action and the big mouthed and funny Chris Tucker. The story line may be too obvious and no twists expected whatsoever but it more than made up for the quick pacing thus you will never be dragged for the whole duration.

I still encourage you to watch this since there are no movies that are better showing now in the Metro. It's now the No.1 movie in the USA surpassing Bourne Ultimatum.

Inaabangan ko yung A Love Story starring Aga, Maricel and Angelica...baka may bold scene si Angelica he he he....

NObody just NOBODY can beat Pacman at his weight when he is very well conditioned and prepared and 100% free of distraction...when he is determined to win and hunger factor is his motivation...

UNFORTUNATELY, he is COntented where he is right now and doesn't hunger for fame or glory since he feels he already achieved it...

the fight VS Barrera is very interesting because we have a FULLY DETERMINED Barrera VS Pacman full of distraction...

I won't be surprised if Pacman loses this fight....

Bro, much as you hate Manny, we can never deny the fact that he is a "national treasure "IN THE FIELD OF SPORTS...not since when have we Filipinos had a boxing icon like him, who's a legitimate pound for pound king and recognized worldwide in all of boxing circles as the best featherweight boxer not only of his time but all-time !

His victories abroad opened up the gates for more filipino boxers to campaign in the US because now they look up to our boxers as WARRIORS because of what Pacquaio has shown..now that is a credit to him.

As much as all of us HAVE SHORTCOMINGS and being HUMAN makes us all IMPERFECT, Pacquaio still has a lot to LEARN but UNFORTUNATELY he is destroying himself with all the DISTRACTIONS he

BROUGHT UPON HIMSELF. This he has to rectify ASAP.

His WINNINGS abroad makes ME PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO- in the field of SPORTS...THAT IS HIS PROFESSION and there are also SACRIFICES in the GYM preparing for a bout and the DANGERS involved in FIGHTING...it DOESN'T differ from being a doctor, a teacher or an engineer... It's a profession and bottomline you have to be the best that you can be! Pacquiao WORKED hard to be where he is right now, and nobody can deny that we Filipinos are proud of his victories...

I saw DISTURBIA the movie the other week. It starred Shia Labeouf, the star of Transformer the Movie. The movie is about a teenage boy who after his painful experience of a car accident and eventually leading to his father's death, was placed on house arrest after an altercation with his teacher in school. The story revolves around his neighbors and the spying that he does using his telescope and discovering more than what he wished for.

It was an entertaining movie although lacking in enough suspense element in the end. I wished there was more depth on the story line with regards to the murders he discovered and more sexy voyeurism included in his spying activities...

I rate this movie a B-

Sayang talaga si Pacman, he is NOT FOCUSED as BEFORE. Parang wala ng HUNGER FACTOR sa kanya and CONTENTED na siya sa narating niya... Sayang, siya pa naman ang ONLY ATHLETE natin na RECOGNIZED WORLDWIDE, pag natalo siya kay BARERRA, nakakahiya.... We need his VICTORIES kasi dun lang tayo na UNITE mga PINOY...

Jimmy Alapag did earned my respect. His fighting spirit showed even when the team was slowly LOSING the game vs Jordan by pushing his teammates to give it there all.

Not too long ago, Benjie Paras earned my respect also when he bagged his 2nd MVP despite the influx of the FIL-SHAMS that includes, Alvarado, Parker, Segova and Fil-Ams Taulava, Seigle etc...He ELEVATED his game to a different level and showed this FIL-AMS a thing or two.

JERRY MAGUIRE - Tom Cruise soft dramatic side was shown here plus I like the lines from this movie which became classic such as "Show me the Moneeeeyyyyy", "You had me at Hello", "Help help you" , " Play with your heart" and the best line of all "You complete me" ..Plus the theme song Secret Garden by Bruce Springsteen really gives you chills once you hear it..I never get tired watching it..

2. SCENT OF A WOMAN - Al Pacino's "only" Oscar best actor performance award won (can you believe that?)... I liked the story line very unique and Al Pacino gave an outstanding performance as an ex-military blind guy... I particularly liked when he danced the tango with Paulina Porizkova and when he says "HOOO HA!"...
