Haha! Al-Hussaini is obviously a better player than Baclao. Unexpected for whom? For Air21? It was management which decided to choose Baclao over Al-Hussaini. What's so unexpected here?

So kung sabi mo sinadya nila at nagkaroon ng decision process paano sila naging irrational? Pag sinabi kasing management decided, ibig sabihin pinagisipan nila un kaya may rationalization process na nangyari.

The move maybe not the best move/decision for an observer like you and me but for management they have their reasons. As such, this move was unexpected by observers who really don't know what transpired.

That move was UNEXPECTED (not irrational) since management have their reasons for doing such.

thats exactly my point, going up another weight class will give mayweather another issue to bring to the bargaining table (or another reason to duck manny). we know how difficult he is to deal with. hes always looking for advantages. he will just say to manny "you already fought at jr. middleweight, so why go back down a division?" besides, by going up in weight, i believe manny already gave up his title.

What I know is that you don't have to immediately relinquish the title if you move up in weight to challenge for a title. But once the guy wins, he have to choose which title he have to relinquish. This happens to Manny then when the WBC made such ruling. However am not sure if same applies to a different boxing organization aside from the WBC.

Well if what we get from reports are all true wherein indeed MP agree to the blood testing condition of Pretty Boy and now PB is saying he just don't wanna be rush coz he's on vacation. That is really BS and an act of deliberately trying to avoid MP.

agree ako na matanda na ang parehong Danny ng SMB. However, 5 years ago, it would also be impossible to get these two as they are considered the pillars of SMB then. Ngayon, pwede na sila makuha o ipamigay without really sacrificing a lot in their rotation since loaded na rin naman ang SMB.

Bottomline is kahit gurang na ang dalawang ito I think they can still contribute more than some of the existing BIGS we have like Ferriols (who older than the 2) and Yancy to name a few.

Nothing to be excited about with MAMA's return. We've seen him play with the Gin Kings for several years and has been in this league for quite some time. I guess at most he's a decent reliever for a big man but is not necessary the BIG MAN that we hope for which could provide us an impact.

Given a choice, I'd rather have Danny I in our line-up than Mamaril. And since hindi na rin masyadong nagagamit si Danny S sa SMB, isama na rin siya.

problem with some is that they have a one track mind and care less to understand the post of others before he reacts.

I think vegasboy32 was clear when he suggested that Gilas plays top notch teams but did not specifically mentioned specifically the national teams of Argentina, Greece and Spain. For God sake, even probably the team B of these national teams would be a top notch competition for us at this point.

Yes maybe it would be hard to arrange these games all together and maybe too costly as Gilas definitely would have to travel to those countries. But I think if we want these games, GOODWILL games can be arranged.

In general, ang uaap and ncaa is a venue for students in their respective schools who wants to compete and excel in their respective sports.

Therefore as long as that foreign athlete is a bonafide student of that school and meet the criteria of being one, I don't think we should consider/distinguish them as "imports".
