  1. PC. Build one yourself. Don't spend 15k-20k on a console. Spend 25k on a decent gaming PC and be happier.

Why we shouldn't spend on a current gen console? Care to elaborate how we can be happier on a gaming PC rather than a PS3/PS4/Xbox360/Xbox1? Because last time I checked PC can't play FFXIII, Uncharted, Tekken Tag 2, Gran Turismo or any exclusives. And, how about those who doesn't give a damn on optimizing the game and just want to plug & play and not worry about spending hours fixing various issues on compatibility, etc. on a PC. Not to mention the much bigger electric consumption which an issue on some gamers.

It's a lot more fun to get a console or consoles and a good gaming pc. It's too costly but hey, you get the best of both worlds.

    Very much agreed.

    Console for skillful gaming.

Kinda agree on this although hard games are dying breed. Most people now would rather prefer interactive movies than real challenges.

  2. I'll love to play with you Ms. Sachi B)

Tekken fan here. Been playing since the 3rd installment. Sana this year, may teaser na ng Tekken 7 or Tekken vs Street Fighter happy.gif

Judging by Harada's silence/dodging of questions, Tekken X SF is unlikely to materialize.

  3. I bought a Vita a year ago not just because its more powerful but because of games like Persona 4 and DJ Max. The thing is, its what you want to play but for a wide variety of titles, 3DS offers more.

  4. I'm not really confined on limited genres. In fact I played all types of games (anything from Platformer, Puzzle, RPGs, Fighting, Sim, Racing, FPS, Sports, Visual Novel etc.). But this gen of gaming, I never touched a single FPS and Sports game.

Ang "weakness" lang naman ng S1 is walang flash ang camera but the advantages far outweigh it (this is one of the very few 2.1 Eclair phones that you can update to 4.0 ICS UNofficially).

The original S1 (the i9000 unit which shares the Super AMOLED screen of S2 and S3) is already phased out. Don't know about Galaxy S2 but S3 is around 31k+.

  7. why not wait for Galaxy S1,000 or even Galaxy S 1,000,000

by that time siguradong sulit na sulit na ang pag upgrade mo

    Natawa ako dito ah...

Serious comment, subjective kasi ang pagiging "sulit". Maaring "sulit" sa iba ang upgrade from iPhone 4 to 4s kahit na Camera at Siri lang ang major difference. Pwede rin namang hindi "sulit" ang upgrade from i9000 Galaxy S1 (phone ko hehe) to Galaxy S2 dahil isang processor, CPU speed, camera, flash and screen size lang ang noticeable difference. And add the fact that the cost of technology depreciates quickly, for example a Nokia N95 you got way back then for around 30k php are now being sold for 2k+ php. If you'll ask me, its not "sulit" to upgrade especially if you're from Galaxy S2. There's NO single app from Google Playstore that requires a quad-core processor (maybe a PS2 emulator but that's very unlikely to have a stable one this year) and the most brutal multi-tasking on a phone can be handled by a 1ghz single core phone like the S1.

  8. Ano advantage kapag rooted? and what do you mean of ICS?

Root is like admin access, there are apps like Titanium Backup that only works on rooted devices.

ICS = Ice Cream Sandwich = Android version 4.0 (The latest Droid OS)

  9. Reggie Miller. He's ringless, only because he lacks good teammates. Despite of that, he opted not to leave a dying franchise for a better championship contender team like LeBron did.

Meron bang block option dito sa sports thread? Or much better i-ip ban yung mga tulad niya na walang ginawa kundi mag spam ng basura dito sa MTC. As much as I want to be nice pero nakakasakit na ng mata yung posts niya eh.

  10. players at SM Fairview are quite good. Team PMS plays there, and it is even where I could often see the Tekken champ (I dunno if he's still the champ but he's very good) by the name Carlo. I know him since he was a schoolmate before and he's also a very good Soul Calibur player (he's known as Carloud in the SC community).

I think his card name is Jinlo and a Bob player. If he's the one you're referring to, no he's not the champion anymore. Maybe because his character is nerfed hard.

  11. Not Kobe of course. LeBron can easily dethrone MJ soon. Just give it around 7-8 years

Easily? On paper he seems to be. But unlike LBJ, MJ is more than just a stat-pad player (those great arguments why he was the best player ever played was posted on the first pages of this thread, no need to repeat those).

  12. iphone pa rin ako :)

Then what are you doing here? Obviously this is not the thread for your oversimplified, overrated and overpriced piece of gadget.

how much is the Samsung galaxy sIII?

First day the price might be around 37k ish php like Galaxy S2. But if I were you ill wait for the price to stabilize before buying one.
