  1. Finally! got to fire my 9 after 5 years! i just walked into the Crame range, gave them my ID and signed in..... if i only knew it would be that easy previously.......

Huh? Kahit wala kang PTC or PTT? Di ka ba kakasuhan or kokotongan ng mga tao dun?

  2. I remember getting a garage room somewhere here once where instead of going up a flight of stairs, the door to the room was right there beside the parking. I just can't remember which motel this was.

Meron ba may alam ng ganito? Thanks

  3. for #1: some people can carry firearms using a discreet ankle or leg holster, or using a shoulder holster and wearing clothing over these. if it is inside a motor vehicle, it should be concealed within a compartment. if you'll notice a lot of small-time, petulant belligerents among the police ranks generally like to brandish their guns. heck, when i was still in school, our barbarian of a security guard likes to pump his shotgun in front of students. all the while when they shouldn't be exempted from this rule.

for #2: NUMBER AND TYPES OF FIREARMS THAT MAY BE POSSESSED

    • Each individual may hold under license a maximum of only one (1) low-powered rifle caliber 22 or shotgun not heavier than 12 gauge and one (1) pistol or revolver, not higher than caliber .38 except caliber .357 and caliber .22 center fire magnum and those which may later be classified by the Chief, Philippine National Police (C, PNP) as high-powered regardless of the type, make or caliber.
    • Officers and non-commissioned police officers enlisted personnel in the active service and in the retired list of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) may hold under license a maximum of only one (1) low powered rifle caliber .22 or shotgun not heavier than 12 gauge and one (1) sidearm of any type or caliber.
    • Commissioned Officers in good standing of the Reserve Force of the AFP who are on inactive status may hold under license a maximum of only one (1) low-powered rifle caliber .22 or shotgun not heavier than 12 gauge and one (1) sidearm not heavier than caliber .45, except caliber .357 and caliber .22 center fire magnum and those which may later be classified by the C, PNP as high-powered regardless of the type, make and caliber.

Damn, that sucks. That means I can't even buy a small .40 or 9mm if I already have a 1911? Family heirloom na din kasi yung 1911, gusto ko sa bahay lang siya.

  4. Just came from the gun show at SM Megamall yesterday to do some research on what pistol I should get. I already have a licensed 1911 with a PTC, but I want something smaller for more convenient carrying.

I've been trying to find the Philippine laws and PNP regulations on the internet about gun ownership and carrying, but the PNP website is horrible. All I found on Google is Executive Order 194, MC 2010-008, and MC 2011-005. A couple of questions:

1.) I see that the conditions for the Permit to Carry states that:

"For All Other Persons. (including members of the PNP AFP and other LEAs in civilian attire)

    a) Display of firearm is prohibited (The firearm must always be concealed)

    B) The firearm must be secured inside a vehicle or a motor cycle compartment.

Does this mean that the firearm should ALWAYS be concealed and should always be in the vehicle? Medyo useless kasi PTC kung sa kotse mo lang pwede gamitin. Or does this mean that when it is in the vehicle, it should be secured inside some sort of compartment?

2.) I read somewhere (a news article) that gun ownership is limited to one handgun and one long firearm. Is this true? I already have a .45 pistol, but I want to get a smaller .40 or 9mm. Pwede pa ba?

THANKS TO ANYONE WHO CAN CLARIFY. Although I hate these regulations that are aimed at responsible people (instead of criminals), I want to follow them anyway.

  5. Puwede naman siguro sumakay sa trunk yung apat. Tapos pag alis ng roomboy pwede na orgy time.

Tried Rosal for the first time last week. I got sick of Victoria Court the last few times I went ang pangit na ng experience ko. I must say I was impressed with Rosal. Several floors yung building pero garage room din. Galing. Sana may condo ako na ganito :)

Anyway the room was clean and didn't smell of anything. Everything was working fine (aircon, toilet, etc). And the whole wall on one side was a mirror. Nice :) It really makes a big difference in enjoying the activity. The food wasn't anything special (we had a tenderloin steak and sweet-sour pork) pero okay lang.

I think if I'm in the pasig area dito na ako pupunta, hindi na sa pukenanginang VC na yan.

By the way, may Rosal pa ba sa ibang locations? Or motels operated by the same owner with similar standards/prices? Particularly Sta Mesa area and Balintawak?

    Thanks!

  6. I read in the paper today that so far they did not decide to do away with the PTC. So it looks like I will be able to get one. I just hope that after I get one (and pay around 7 or 8k for it), they won't just change their minds and decide Filipino's don't have the right to protect themselves and instead have to rely on our super-competent PNP to protect us.

I'm from the Greenhills/Ortigas area. The only ranges I've been to are at Ortigas Home Depot and somewhere in Broadway/Aurora (a long time ago).

  7. I'm pretty pissed this morning. I passed by PNP today to get some forms so that I can finally get a PTC once this stupid anti-freedom & pro-criminal gun ban is lifted. I did get the form but I was told I might not be able to use it anyway because the f#&king Chief PNP wants it to be a permanent total gun ban. As stated in the news, Noynoy is against it because obviously it would mean that only criminals will have guns. I think they are having a meeting/summit today to discuss this. Tawag daw ako uli sa Monday to find out.

I inherited my dad's Ithaca 1911, which based on the serial number is from WW2. I've never shot it and I was looking forward to taking it to a range once I get my PTC. I am praying for reason to prevail in their meeting.

Anyway, I was advised to join a gun club so that I can at least transport my gun to different shooting ranges within Manila. Can you guys recommend gun clubs/ranges? Sorry for the rant. THANKS!!!

  8. Was at VC Balintawak last night. I was surprised because it really is very nice. Parang hotel talaga. Not sure what kind of room it was, pero 900+ for 5 hours.

Are the rooms at any of the motels with lower rates comparable to VC?
