  1. Another good place if you like really good single malt whiskey is Forth and Taye on the corner of Pasay Rd. and Makati Ave.

It is attached to the business complex adjoining the New World Hotel - big comfortable chairs and all the single malts you could ever want by the nip or bottle.

Nice info, will visit this place in April.

  2. its not along the road. there's no highway there btw. just roads.

cottage queen is beachfront. two resorts away from friday's.

better here because there are no crowds. especially the annoying, feeling party people, the foreigners looking to prey on natives, the natives looking to prey on foreigners and all that. station 1 is where you stay if you want peace and quiet. if you want to "party" i suggest you stay smack in the middle of station 2.

and no. cottage queen has no aircon rooms. besides, you don't go to bora to stay in a nice room. you go to bora for the nice beach. you'll hardly stay in your room anyway.

    HI missmanners,

Would you have any pics of the rooms cottage queen in general? Another MTC member here recommended Jody's...the pics of their rooms looks nice enough.

Thanks for your help, can;t wait to go later this April.

  3. Ola IB!  Round this time last year a whole bunch of us were at Bora and since I booked early I got a good deal at Jony's.  It's located at the beachfront in station 1 which seems like the best place to be -- distant enough from your noisy Pier 1 et al and a short walk to the buzz of Station 2 (it's actually right beside that Elizalde house I think).  I reckon the best stretch of beach is at station 1 as well, during the afternoons the more interesting station 2 tourists often walk over to the Jony's stretch to be seen and enjoy the sand.  The deluxe rooms are pretty new, spacious, nice & clean.  Here's a link to their page from boracay.com --  Jony's Beach Resort

The package I got through my travel agent was smashing (I spent about 10K for a 4D/3N trip inclusive of air & land transfers), I can give you my agent's number should you need assistance. :)

Am heading back there this year sometime before Holy week with my whole maternal clan and will definitely want to stay at Jony's again.  :thumbsupsmiley:

Ola Lipstick! That's not bad at all, thanks. Sounds like deluxe room is all we need, I'll PM you for more details.

  4. HI guys,

Going to Boracay this April after holy week. Has anyone been there around the same time after holy week - April 20 onwards? I've stayed at Waling Waling, Pearl and Pink Patio in the past. Would like to try a differenct place and not too expensive - any suggestions welcome.

Waling waling great place but expensive.

Pearl not as expensive but a little run down and service was not so good - almost 2 years ago.

Patio Pacific - nice room but small, good amenities, just a litle off the main road.

Like I said, something similar to Patio but may be not as expensive...

Thanks in advance, anyone gonna be there the same time drop me line, lets get drunk.

  7. Im inviting partners to build beach cottages in a very secluded beach.  Deal is very simple.  You build the beach house, there is a choice of models ranging from P100,000 to P200,000. Money is not considered an investment to my company but used to build your own cottage in my land.  If you build the cottage whatever lease (long term and short term) that will be earned by your cottage is yours save for a very small maintenance fee.  Security for probable partners is (1) a separate title and tax declaration for the beachhouse (as beach house is a separate real estate); (2) money to be given for construction shall be deposited in escrow in a commercial bank of your choice which has escrow deposit service conditioned that money will be used to build your cottage; (3) an independent accountant firm to monitor the income and expenses on your cottage.  benefits? how do i start - first you will have your own cottage in a very beautiful secluded beach which you can visit anytime; (2) resort is by invitation only (you are ensured of quality guests); (3) most of the guests are foreigners-germans, koreans, japanese, etc.; (4) beach is one best kept secret of the province.  For details, i can email to you the Project Brief.

Sounds very interesting. I'm alwasy looking for business opportunities, please email me more info.

    Thanks,

    IB

This is the picture of the cabana that acts as a restaurant, ktv and bar. At night they illuminate this mood lighting, being niether too bright or too dark. Click here.

This picture would give you an idea how far the actual boat station 1 to the entrance of Club 10. Click here ERr... Tha's me on blue! :D

This is me and my sisters, this photo taken right in front of the entrance/path leading to Club-10, so hitting the beach in no time is not a problem.Click here.

  11. Club 10 - I've stayed here twice.

White beach is about 150 meters away. But what I really like about this place is the seclussion. Very quiet, two verandas are provided per room, the cabana act as the restaurant/KTV bar that includes a place where you sit in the floor with pillows to enjoy a candle lit night with friends while partying/karaoke.

It is inside a compound to keep outsiders out and the service is superb compared to big resorts. They give you a wake-up call, serve breakfast when you want it, and even serve it right outside your door in the veranda. They operate thier own boat and jetski and for a nominal fee of P1000, you can have the boat all day to go sight-seeing. With enough tip before leaving, they give you a souvenir t-shirt and provides help all the way to Caticlan Airport.

    :)

    HI Azrach,

How much is this place per night? AND would you have some pictures of the place?

    Salamat,

    IB
