  1. I'd go with Hyundai's i30 and Suzuki's Swift, napakadaling dalhin tapos di pa ganun kadami ang meron nito.

Diba iba na ang parang designer ng Hyundai? Maganda ang mga diesel engines nila at diyan sila kilala. German technology yata ang gamit nila diyan, halos di nalalayo sa BMW. :)

As for Kia, medyo nagaalangan ako dito pero nakita ko yung bagong Sorento at maganda siya ha.

Excuse me pero malayo po sa BMW diesel Engine and hyundai.... it doesnt generate as much torque as a bimmer

  2. It really depends on your preference. If you want to play online the 360 will give you a much more diverse playing field because for me xbox live has the best service inspite of shelling out some cash for memberships. Plus if you're 360 is connected to your network you can use the media center function of it making you PC the master control center of all your multimedia needs. Its a shame we dont have tivo here but with the PC/xbox connection both units can trade info like streaming music from your pc or playing HD movies direct from your pc to your xbox and HD tv.Since everyone's intyo downloading their fav tv series off the internet anyways. Still, the PS3 has a lot of game titles that are way cooler. Metalgear and Granturismo still rocks. So I think the best compromise is just to own both but really, who can tell the difference between a 720p to a 1080p resolution? Hardly non at all least you get a totally high end TV with very upscale speakers and power amps.

The big differentiator on the online content for the xbox and ps3 is that you have to pay a monthly fee for xbox live, while the PSN is free! So for me this gives it a big plus as they're not milking you for monthly subscription fees.

  3. parang mas bago yung near EDSA, kasi parang bago pa yung rooms siguro mga 1-2 years pa lang ito? not really sure kasi di ako syado nagagawi dito pero alam ko dati wala pa to

  4. South Super Traffic dapat tawag nila dito e. Grabe kailan ba matatapos yung construction?!?!? Oh well, and the bad thing is they charge such a high amount for Toll, grabe! Mamumulubi ka sa kaka bayad sa toll, i bet mamahal pa yan pag matapos yung construction nung elevated ramp going to Alabang.

  5. I was a fan of the R8 for some time...until I saw that idiot WowoWillie bought one. And just like that, it wasnt so special anymore.

Yeah nakakainis talaga yun si Willie, damn is that guy making a lot of money. Lakas pa mang chicks ang babata at magaganda pa

  6. Just a thought mga bro..

If you are looking to own a car but planning to resell, choose Honda...

    1) Higher appraised market overtime compared to toyota..

    2) Honda rarely releases new models, that is why their cars have a higher reselling value compare to Toyata. Downside, well they are a lot costlier to own that toyota. That same goes to parts.

I think toyota has a little edge in fuel efficiency compared to Honda. I drive a Vios MT 1.5 and ave about 10 to 11 km/liter with approximately 70km a day..

I dont plan to resell my car instead, want to use it in longer periods.. (cannot afford din naman ako magpalit hehehe) so i went to a easy own, low down, car..

    Kaya kay toyota ako heheheh

    - Actually mas mabilis mag-refresh ang honda because they normally come out with the next gen after 5 years, toyota usually mga 6 years (mabagal kasi sila maglabas dito locally nung bago)

    - Not all Honda models are more expensive compared to Toyota. Example.. mas mahal mga parts for the RAV4 compared to the CRV, and medyo mas cheaper yung Civic compared to the new Altis pati parts medyo pareho lang.

    - Fuel efficiency wise, mas fuel efficient honda engines, kaya nga sa mga reviews sa US nasasama mga Honda. As an example my old 2006 1.8s Civic manual could do 9-11km/l. Comparing it to the 2008 New Corolla Altis 1.6 I sold, it was only doing 8km/l. Mabigat yung body and underpowered yung 1.6 engine for the body of the Corolla. Dapat yung 1.6 yung tinigil nila ibenta, pero pag yung 1.8 kasi itapat nila sa Civic na 1.8 malayo ang presyo kasi mas mahal yung altis.

  7. Is this even repairable, if yes where? I mean the blue line in the LCD screen.

I already tried all the video settings available, resetted the whole system even the LCD has been resetted and this came about after being shipped mukhang nasira ata sa pagkaka-ship.

Is the line visible even if the LCD is turned off? That looks like a defect on the LCD, try to bring it to a shop to be repaired. Is there a warranty that can be honored locally?

  8. I think the Smart Gilas idea is a noble idea and allows us Filipinos to dream that someday just maybe a Filipino Basketball team will again bring glory to the country. It doesnt need to win gold in the olympics but at least compete with the best teams in the world by qualifying for tournaments like the Olympics, World Championships, and winning the Asian Championship.

And Gilas is a TEAM, plays as a team and stays within its system, not a bunch of me-first basketball players.

About getting a naturalized player, well all the other countries do it why shouldnt we? Russia had JR Holden, the US team had Hakeem Olajuwon and Tim Duncan, Japan, Lebanon, Jordan all have naturalized players. Half-Filipinos are still Filipinos by Citizenship. So we are just merely trying to do what others have been doing for a long time.

  9. PS3. With the new PS3 slim, it has better heat dissipation compared to the PS3 phat. I've owned both PS3 models and the Slim is a better console. Graphics in some games it is better than the PS3 but in most reviews I've read the 360 beats the PS3 in graphics. Online content I'd go with the PS3... why? Coz its free, in the 360 you have to pay for a monthly fee to enjoy content and play in the xbox network. The PSN is free and they are continuing to expand the online content.

When the PS3 first came it, it was a no contest in terms of the game libraries, but as the PS3 is maturing and as several years have gone by, there are just more and more PS3 exclusive games that are generally better than the ones at Xbox such as Metal Gear, Little Big Planet, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 1 & 2, Killzone2, God of War 3, Demon's Souls, Gran Turismo... nuff said.

Sony has also brought down the price of both the console and the games. So after a year or two more I think it wont even be a discussino, plus the PS3 can play blu ray movies and will soon have a motion controller.
