They will be a major player for awhile (certainly still A juggernaut of the Americas/Western Hemisphere) but their triumphant unipolar decades of the 1990s and 2000s are long gone! The sooner they make peace with this fact, the better off they would be! Look at how the UK learned to humbly accept that they were no longer a superpower in the years after World War II (which is why they started letting go of their colonies abroad like India, etc)!

I guess that's what all those beach parties/raves I've attended in the past has done to my taste in nightlife!

For me, nothing beats the likes of Pura Vida, Z Hostel's Rooftop Bar, XXXX, and Black Market (before the demographic shifted towards the younger college student-aged peeps). I usually gravitate to clubs where it is easier to mingle with foreign women. But if I just wanna chill without meeting new people (whether alone OR with old friends), I will always recommend 1018 Rooftop Bar!

I just use Grab when I know I will be out drinking!

The Semifinals have three teams now - France, Belgium, and England. They are waiting for Russia OR Croatia to complete the ranks!

I got two teams left now - Russia (a long-time favorite of mine), and France (my bandwagon favorite team of choice, one I chose for very personal reasons )!

I ONLY bother watching UAAP Basketball IF ADMU makes the Finals! Hahaha...

But I hope there will be a year where the Final Four comprised of ADMU, DLSU, UPD, and UST (The BIG FOUR of Philippine Universities)! Oddly, this has NEVER happened before (you can even check the old UAAP records for confirmation)! Baka tataya rin ako kung mangyari iyan! LOL!

This World Cup has already had a number of shockers this early (Argentina tying Iceland, Brazil tying Switzerland, Germany sunk by Mexico, Russia demolishing Saudi in that manner they did, etc). It probably should not be surprising if a team that was not expected to win ends up winning it all instead!

In the Arab World, Sergio Ramos is probably the most HATED football player at the moment - thanks to him tackling Mo Salah during the UEFA Champions League Final!

6 Days Till Russia 2018!

And the Washington Capitals defeat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-1 to become the 2018 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS! It has been a long time coming for Alexander Ovechkin (who is also the Conn Smythe winner this year) and company! This is the FIRST TIME they won the Stanley Cup since the team was started in 1974!
