  1. What about bars that plays 80's music...yung tipong chillax lang and feel the nostalgia...syempre yung alone friendly ha...hehe ^_^

sa Cafe 80's dun sa Ortigas Home Depot...puro 80's music ang tugtog dun. pero not much for a bar, the best sya for groups kasi mas ok ang usapan dahil reminiscing the past ang tipo....

  2. kaninang wala pang tao dito sa floor ko ...

  3. hmmm MTC Pioneers nga dapat ang magbigay ng posts dito. I started here in MTC Nov. 2002 with a yahoogroup invite from Pexy. (tama ba? Pexy) si Pexy pala ay alternick ni Bizman para masabi na may babae na nagpost. If I remember correctly, ang first Grand EB ay sa may isang bar sa Araneta Colosseum. Si Macy lang ata ang only woman member who attended that night. Tapos bagsak ng karamihan ay sa Bartolina. hazy with the details kasi mid 2003 pa ata yun. Alam ko dun nagbuo ang Wolves eh....sina fafrd and company. Just like everybody, lurker lang ako when I started then after a year naging moderator din pero I had to relinquish the post due to lack of time spending on the board. good times during the first 3 or 4 years of MTC...i am hoping to get back to socializing with the peeps here again...

  4. not sure kung baket nga parang taboo dito sa pinas na uminom na mag-isa. i have no problem drinking anywhere alone. most of my recent acquaintances i have met while drinking in a bar alone. tapos kapag maging regular ka at makilala ka ng staff and management, inaalagaan ka. parang sa abroad, you can sit at a bar, drink, talk to the bartender...talk to other people at the bar. it does not mean that you are trying to score or get laid...masaya lang talaga na may nakikilala ka na bago and syempre kapag may tama gumaganda ang usapan kasi uninhibited na tayo. i already have my own watering hole (not the bar with the same name)in Marikina. so i am always covered if i need my fix....:P

  5. ito lang masasabi ko...professional basketball killed our chances to be good in the international game of basketball.

masyado nating in-idolize ang NBA mostly one-on-one skills with their athletes who are more athletic than we are. di uubra ang style na yun sa atin kasi di naman tayo malaki o ganung ka-athletic tulad ng african-americans. pati ang college game natin revolves on more individualistic play than team play...DLSU at Letran lang ata nakita ko na kahit papaano may motion offense...di na na-focus sa fundamentals ang mga bata ngayon, wala na ako nakita na sure shot o deadly shooter sa mid-range o long-range kahit nga free-throw and olats ng mga basketbolista (sino ba ang nakatalo sa percentage ni cabahug sa free-throw?). kaya ang hirap manuod ng PBA kasi walang nakaka-shoot ng sure puro saksak na lang at post-up. pero nung ginusto ng PBA na pabilisin ang laro (ala-Phoenix Suns) nakita ko na ang flaw ng mga Pinoy...shooting. mas matindi daw ang depensa, pure BS, di lang maka-shoot ng mga player na yan. bakit ang south korea matindi na kalaban kasi malaki sila pero may shooting from long range? marunong na rin pumoste kasi alam nila may malalaki na sila. tayo di natin talaga mapipilit ang professional play sa kanila...sina Asi kawawa sa loob tapos ang 2,3,4 pinipilit tumira sa labas e di naman sila ganun kagaling sa shooting (siguro si James Yap at Willie Miller exception dun). pero at least nakita ko kay Yeng Guiao na speed o bilis lang talaga panlaban natin. pero with a faster game we would really need to turn the ball over a bit fewer and shoot a lot better from the mid and long range.

Smart Gilas is a small step to reach that goal...not very optimistic but at least its thought out and is a long term plan. PBA is saying that it is doing its patriotic duty by lending players to the National Team but it really is a contradiction. Their mother teams are probably at wits end when their star player is playing for the national team since if that player is injured...good bye investment...so a National Pool who play together constantly at the international level is the right way to go...at the very least...

As for Japeth, medyo mali lang ata advise sa kanya sana di na sya ngpadraft...:P

  6. Tao Bar sa Metrowalk during weekends opens its doors as early as 6:00AM. At minsan, may DJ na nag-spin ng either house or Hiphop. Cool nga e kasi tatakpan nila ng curtains yung windows para madilim sa loob so parang nasa club ka in the middle of the morning...hehehe nasa 2nd floor ito katabi ng nagtitinda ng goto. :P

May ari daw kasi nito director ng Telus, expat ata.

  7. as for being an undergrad....i'm a prime example. i went in because i really need the money for my daily sustainance. i walked up the ladder and now i am still in a call center...for Siemens...but i'm not an agent anymore. kanya-kanya lang naman e. pero syempre mas important ang studies but kung habol mo lang ang experience sa call center...you might regret it. kasi pwede naman maiwasan ang AWOL e. basta ba ang center walang bond or anything...madadaan naman sa usapan. may mga centers na kumukuha ng undergrads....ang requirements na nga lang ng iba basta may 2 year college at fluent sa English, pasok ka na. if you will continue your studies, naayos naman sa usapan ang schedule mo.

madami ka pwede masubukan...gusto mo i-try and SITEL sa Eastwood. wala silang bond. ang mga accounts ok naman...pinaka-mahaba na training ay 1 and half months...shortest 2 weeks. try mo lang.
