  1. This should not be a big deal about men, house work is a way to practice basic survival skills. I'm a regular DIY bloke so I'd rather make sure that things get done my way than depend on help.

But to get back on the topic, I think it becomes sexy for women if the work being done is something that was performed at given the right timing(like cooking breakfast after an "all nighter" or cleaning up a messy room after fooling around). That always gets a man appreciated and creates an aura of being in control.

  2. I think I blew it, I cant believe I let that one slip?! Was I not paying attention? Were there signs? There were signs? Stupid! stupid! stupid! AAAAAAAARRGHHH!!!! Damn choke job.....

Need to redeem myself fast...Do I still get a chance?

(Now I need to start writing this on the wall a million times: I will not let another chance slip by,I will not let another chance slip by...)

  3. Try Hangout @ Mt Emily. Its in a residential area within the vicinity of Dhoby Gaut and Little India station. Both Dhoby Gaut and Little india stations are 10 mins walk away. For sure tahimik sa area, I consider this a high end Hostel type with a good crowd of guests.

They have a 4D3N package at 400 SG nett na ata so its a over the prce range you mentioned pero definitely sure ka sa linis at ambience.

hi! guys suggestion naman ng nice pero affordable na hotel sa singapore..

we will be going there this August with my family..meron kayang around P2500 lang per night (including taxes/other charges) na malapit na rin sa mga tourist spots? kung yung room is good for 2 persons lang, how much

    Thanks!

  4. I'll share what one of our senior exec shared with me (I could have sworn he read it somewhere but I can't recall so benefit of the doubt to him. Besides the way he delivered it was so appropriate for the situation at that time). Here's what he said (he's 62 na BTW - you'll know why I had to share this as you read on):

"When I was growing up I thought I should go out and change the world, as I went and learned about the world in my younger years I realized that I should just change my country, but it was also difficult so I figured I'd make a change in my town. As I grew older I realized I cannot change my town so I decided I will change my family, late into my years I learned that I cannot change others nor my family so I decided to change myself.

Now I am an old man and I learned that since I changed myself I was able to change my family, in turn we made a stronger impression in our town. This made our town so significant that our country started to notice and we were able to influence the country and who knows maybe later on...the world"

Young grads, before you go out to the world and blame everything for your success and failures, know that your future stats from what you change from within. There are bigger things in the world than us so we must learn to find our place in the world to understand how we can contribute. Not all of us will become CEOs, political leaders, technocrats or business moguls but this does not deny us the right to make a significant impact to society.

I am not a fan of telling people what to do but I am always happy to show people the opportunities that they can grab. The rest is up to you, be happy with what you chose and be honest with yourself with how you measure success.

    Yun lang po..bow.

  5. Speaking of overrated naman in the pba, what do you all think about the way veterans are treated?

I cringe everytime i see ildefonso, Asi, menk, aquino and espino lug themselves around the court when they look absolutely past their prime. There's an obvious seniority treatment but they are only ruining their legacies for younger viewers by logging major minutes. These guys should sit and let the younger guys play.

  6. At present i think Melo takes the cake here. The reason is that Melo is being placed on the same pedestal as wade, lebron, rose, kobe, howard, durant and other elites yet he does not make as much difference for his team to be considered a franchise player. Melo may be one of the best scorers today but he does little of everything else. The trade to the knicks say it all, they were a better team without him and their true star Amare was a better player overall before Melo came aboard. He practically sucked the life out of that team. Now thats overrated. Can he still be a great player? Absolutely, but he needs to be on a team of unselfish veterans that can cover for the rest of his short comings and know how to fill e roes that he cant play.

If anyone is thinking about the all time most overrated, then consider Wilt Chamberlan. We all celebrate his individual accomplishments yet during his day the guy was a men among boys yet he only has 2 rings (only 1 was won as the team's best player).
