Hello SSS experts, I would like to know what/how to file when a pensioner has died.
Thanks in advance.

No matter how much I liked Anne Rice's "Interview With a Vampire", i cannot finish "Violin". I haven't picked it up since I set it down more than five years ago.

Mga sir and ma'am. May tanong lang po regarding this.....
What is the advisable percentage of downpayment na kailangang ipunin para bumili ng lote (and kung uutang sa bank)?
Also, (I'm not sure if this is proper to ask) what is the best philippine bank to engage with regards to housing loans?
TIA.
Usually - it varies from bank to bank - they will loan you 80% of the evaluated price. The 20% must come from you.
You can shop around and compare interest rates, fees and customer service. It's a buyers market out there.

Good Afternoon GMs. Sana may maksagot sa tanong ko. Kumuha po kasi ako bahay sa Globe Asiatique. Then nagkaproblema sila. Na delay po kasi ako ng 3 months sa monthly installment ko. Ngayon I am facilng late charges saka 2% interest nung Balance daw ng TCP. J\Kung di ko daw mabayaran yung total na 50K. Rescind daw nila contract to sell ko. Tnx in advnace po.
Talk with a lawyer. Just one consulting session will be ok, you can afford that.

subway is ok for people who are into sandwiches.
there's lots of variety and the price is reasonable (freshly baked bread and your choice of dressings, c'mon)
alternatives are the sandwich guy and olivers sandwiches

What's the difference between 4x4 and 4wd. In laymans term
nothing, actually. both mean "four wheel drive"
there are different four wheel drive systems though, maybe that's what you're thinking of?
there's awd or all wheel drive where the four wheel drive system is always on. the car's computer decides how much traction to apply and what wheel to apply it to. subarus are of this type.
there's also part time four wheel drive where the four wheel drive system is off unless the driver activates it via a switch or lever. old pajeros/safaris/landcruisers are like this.

hello. i'm a newbie pickup owner (isuzu dmax) so please bear with me.
i have two questions.
1. i read sa manual you have to step on the clutch before starting the ignition (even if the pickup is on neutral). is it really necessary?
2. when starting daw a deisel engine like dmax, we have to wait several minutes for the engine to get warm before driving it? how long exactly? and gaano katagal di napa andar ang pickup before performing this 'ritual' again?
thanks talaga sa tulong and sorry if medyo 'dumb' ang mga questions ko. if there are also links to websites na me tips how to take proper care of my dmax, i'd really appreciate it.
hello! having a new car is a great feeling. hope this helps:
1. yes you have to step on the clutch for the pick up to start. its a built in safety device to ensure that it won't jerk forward when you turn the start key while in gear.
2. you don't have to wait to drive your pickup, just don't drive fast at first because it needs time to warm up.
tsikot.com is a great site for people who love cars. there's an isuzu club there i think

. get another wallet, seriously :call:
no kidding? are there guys out there with multiple wallets?
-
^hey that looks classy
-
matagal na ako naghahanap ng money clip. saan makakabili. PM me please. TY
2nd the motion, san nga ba?
as for a murse, then you'd be carrying something bigger than a wallet all the time
it'll be a bigger bother right?
or am i just not a metrosexual? hehe
-
i always have a problem with this, my wallet starts out thin when new and then fattens up
it's now so fat i'm uncomfortable putting it in my pocket
and it creates an unsightly bulge when i do.
what are your strategies to keep your wallets thin?
how do you carry your wallets?
leaving my cards (ids, credit cards, etc) is out of the question though

Anyone here still into FILM/ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY? I think most aspiring "photographers" are just jumping into the DSLR fad, and not really into photography itself. I'm still into the beginners level. Sana meron ditong marunong magturo ng mga manual adjustments, and especially FILM DEVELOPING. I really wanna develop my own B&W pics!
oooh this takes me back. the UP film Center used to have a regular class about this. manual everything, from photo shooting to the finished pictures.
i loved it.
maybe you can check if they're still offering this kind of class?
sadly i think nothing can stop film and analog photography from its extinction
i put my vivitar manual camera for sale here at MTC and nobody wants it hehe

where did you stay with the package from PAL? is that from the PALAKBAYAN package? Cebu Pacific's offer is also aroound 10k. i'm just worried about the accommodation. baka sa station 3 yun, ang layo...
station 2
yeah, and keisuke's right. the hotel names are listed with the package
-
^i'm thinking of availing airline package as well. from which airline did you avail the package? how much does it cost you? i've only checked cebu pacific and their package is around 10k+ as the cheapest. that's quite expensive for me, hehe i'm planning to travel in bora by january. kalibo flight is not a problem since i would also like to witness the ati-atihan by that time.
we got the PAL package, something around 10k each i think.
the nicest thing about PAL is there are less people, even in the plane. they don't fill it up to capacity.
there are travel agencies that offer packages as low as 7k, it's in the cheaper hotels though
but i think where you stay won't matter so much 'coz you'll be out most of the time.
-
went there last week
i find it more convenient if you went there using the airline packages, almost all the airlines have them.
that way someone will fetch you when you land, take you to your hotel, then take you to the airport when you leave.
caticlan airport is closed to big planes, so you have to bear with a two hour bus trip and a ferry ride to boracay island.
oh, be prepared to take your shoes off and get wet when your boat comes to pick you up.
nice places to stay in front of the beach are Boracay Mandarin, Boracay Regency, La Carmela, and the Redsomething hotel hehe
all are in station 2. i like station 2 the best because it's near d 'mall and d'talipapa.
-
could anyone suggest an itinerary for a three day stay in Boracay?
all i can think of is go island hopping
help will be much appreciated, TIA

What you need is a light meter that displays the F stop and the speed(shutter) There's also a display for asa or film speed
look for a used sekonic light meter or a more complicated minolta or pentax spot meters they should be cheap by now.
Bro, you can try e-bay. tyaga ka lang! I got mine for 1k
oo nga, hirap pala maghanap nun.
brand new ones are priced 8k! huhuhu
someone please sell me a used one! kahit analog!

i like korean food
it's nutritious, tasty and spicy
but i'm not an expert though, i've only eaten in two korean restaurants: kaya and uuma
kaya has lots of branches in the metro (powerplant mall, podium, robinson's ermita to name a few)
and uuma is in the fort strip in bonifacio
try their noodle dishes, sarap

Does anyone know where i can buy an exposure light meter for photography?
the ones i find on ebay and sulit are general purpose light meters
can i use them for photography? they only display light intensity in lux

AFAIK, regular gas is used on lawnmowers, bushcutters and water pumps.
tricycles use 'em sometimes
there's still regular gas being sold in the provinces
anyway, maybe there's something wrong with your scooter?
my brother fills his up at a local Total station and it seems to be doing fine.

Thanks for the reply! What if we don't want to claim anything but just want to notify the SSS of the pensioner's death so that they will stop the pension from coming in?
