  1. one aspect that not too many people consider is the frequency of OS updates. due to the diversity of Android manufacturers and their propensity to add their own custom skins, OS updates are often take a long time to get to the end users' phones. why is this important? we all tend to keep a lot of information on our phones these days. OS updates are often issued to address security problems that have been identified in previous versions of the OS. OS updates are not just released to introduce new features.

while it is true that one can root one's phone and use a "pure" Google Android OS, this takes a bit more technical skill than what the average man/woman-on-the-street user has. to those of you who are skilled enough to perform a rooting operations, well and good.

as far as frequency and speed of disseminating OS updates to handsets, i think that iOS wins hands down.

  2. it may just be my point of view and i am sure that others will not agree, but if one were to begin smoking, i'd rather that they use something natural. at the moment, i can only think of two options: cigars and pipes. as far as vaping goes, i don't know what the substances used are. so, i won't even consider it. to play safe, go natural. even safer: don't start. hehehe.

  3. among the guns i have fired?

cz-75 tactical sports, .40 cal. (it has a very crisp trigger and controlling it is very easy)

cz-75 (very practical handgun. will fire all day long, accuracy is good enough. in the hands of a skilled shooter, single-hole double taps are possible.)

  4. just a thought: how come most of people think of the combat/physical training aspect of martial arts while few people talk about the healing aspect? my teacher taught me how to dislocate joints. later on, he also taught me how to re-align a dislocated joint. he also taught me a bit about the preparation of chinese medicine and acupuncture. being a martial artist gives us a very intimate knowledge of the body's vital points. these points may be used to harm someone. these points may also be used to heal/cure someone.

  5. i got a cherry mobile razor 2. happy naman ako sa performance ng unit. good battery life given my usage profile (occassional call, sms, surfing). i don't play games on my phones. phone is not perfect. the interval between shots is too long (around 4 seconds between shots). if you are looking for a handset for rapid shooting, go for another brand (iPhone would be ok, or perhaps, Sony Xperia, Samsung Galaxy S6, etc.). if this phone has a weak spot, it's the camera shot-to-shot time. quality of the images are ok in good light. in low light, nope.

if you are a casual shooter, you can probably live with the "speed" of the camera app. for shooting, i use another phone.

  6. as far as i can tell, acupuncture works. my martial arts teacher used it on me on several occasions. it helped manage the swelling of my knees and ankles. however, i won't say that it is a cure-all. it is best to consult a TCM practitioner first. in my case, it was a combination of acupuncture + herbal wraps.

  7. Hi guys, pardon my ignorance, do they use the same needles always, if yes hindi ba delikado yun?

i have a friend who does acupuncture. he breaks each needle after using it. then again, that is is SOP. i do not know if other acupuncture practitioners do the same thing.
