  1. Hey foodies... If I was going out on a dinner date in the area, what would be a good place? Not just food-wise, but ambiance/steadiness/intimate-wise???

I'm from QC, but the embarrassing thing is know Foodie places in Ortigas or Makati better than in QC... piyesa ng kotse alam ko kung saan meron, bookbinding alam ko san, isaw alam ko saan, pero sa mga QC restos olats ako.

Katre's been sounding good to me. Aresi of course. Taste of LA and Finio sound like contenders. I don't like prick places, doesn't need to be expensive, but as steady and ambient as Greens probably... Although greens is out because I like my food murdered. :upside:

Katre maganda yung ambiance, medyo intimate, at masarap ang pagkain. Taste of LA, masarap at intimate kaya lang yung ambiance, di pang romansa. Aresi mas pang pamilya kaysa romansa.
  2. They only have 3 lamb items in the menu and the Lamb with Couscous is the best of the three (IMO)

not making much money???? kinda strange if you consider that during those times, we have to wait 15 minutes just to get a table, what with the healthy amount of customers lining up to dine there.

Oh well..... lets hope they'd fare better in their new location. I really enjoyed my previous meal there. And I'm looking forward to another one pretty soon.

Although we could try OMAKASE first as our next Food Trip EB Master

Omakase masarap din dyan, Aresi? Nabuhay nanaman ba sila?
  3. @Food trip guys,

You could also try Feng Wei Wee @ the corner of Banawe and Samat beside Pizza hut. It's a Taiwanese cuisine. Mas sosy sa Zhang and mas mahal.

  4. my apologies if my previous posts did not state whether it was before or after Maria Clara St. (coming from quezon ave.)... next time I'll try to post clearer directions.

Last night our second "Food Trip" EB was attended by Me, Sir HOPIA, SWEET INTROVERT, PAULA and sir JOPOC. (The Gentle_Maniac was not able to make it.) Our dinner meet was at a thai resto called MUANG THAI.

:thumbsupsmiley:

i just tried causeway banawe awhile ago. i am not disappointed at all. it was worth it.!!!!!!! i ate their wanton noodle and siomai!!!!
Causeway Banawe is the best sa lahat ng branches nila.
Not in the veggie stuff

I just ordered the Silly Burger the other day. Damn!

I'll try the 3 Cheese and the Margherita burgers next time

Yung 3 Cheese is better than the Margherita, dalawa sila based on pizza recipes.

  6. Max Fried Chicken along Ayala Ave. Tapos when we asked for the bill, putsa, 25 minutes bago ma bigay, 4 tables lang ang may nakaupo nung panahon na iyon.

    Nakakairita talaga.
