  1. i have to agree with you all...

by far the best bussiness type phone...really great features....design and build is all good and solid and stable...firmware and OS is also very stable...

only weird thing about this is why in the world did Nokia made the On/Off button RED....there is no accent at all of that shade in any of the phone colors available and RED is not really a bussiness color...

    all in all...this phone rocks...

  2. i guess one main consideration is the OS of the phone...i have never been a fan of phones running on windows mobile....

in basic functions such as calls, music, browsing...id say iPhone is still great....SMS wise...i guess its just a matter of getting used to it as the iPhone really learns how you text and the patterns of your inputs and eventually learns the tagalog words that you use...lets say for example, the word "po" can be put by simply pressing pp...hehehehe...

going back to the topic...its really more of what would make you happy in terms of usage...we can all say we like this and that but its still you who would decide as people will always have diff opinion over the same device....

i guess one best thing with the iPhone is the added bling it gives...and another thing, the samsung Omnia price depreciates a lot faster than the iPhone...source would be the online trading community...not the stores in malls....

  3. Got an officemate who bought an IPHONE 3G 8GB from globe..it's nice looking and fun to play with...the problem is that it's bluetooth function doesn't work with file transfer..it can only be used for a bluetooth headset...i'm not sure if my officemate doesn't know how to check it but that's what he told me...after I heard that I was highly disappointed with it...imagine paying almost 40k for a phone that doesn't even have the correct bluetooth functionality work properly...any inputs on this guys?? thanx! :headsetsmiley:

bluetooth function of the iPhone was never designed to transfer files in/out of the iPhone. For those who have not had the pleasure/headache of transferring files in iPhone, its not really as simple as how its done in most phones. Specially if what you want is to customize the phone's features such as ring/sms tones...it would take a few more steps to actually get those thinsg customized...as far as basic functions is concerned, its by far really great...

  4. if you buy an iPhone 3G...i would recommend Globe as the prices outside doesnt have that much difference and the best part in Globe is the one year warranty and since wala naman service or repair option for iPhone, if found to be really defective, its a replacement of a new unit...sweet....

  5. currently using altec atp3 and mx5021 for pc and laptop....i my opinion...atp3 is still the cheapest option and has a very good quality...and very reliable...

i also have a wharfedale speakers for HT setup....
