Yes sir, they still exist. Though i haven't seen that so called "liu-bao" (6kinds) meal in their menu since my most recent visit to Ramon Lee. but they do have their known ChopSuey rice & fried Chicken.

Much wiser decision... go to the nearby Song-Hai Resto - the quintessential purveyor of authentic Soup #5 and still the favorite of Philippines' Comedy King (i was told)!

 

Located at the alley from Estero side. That alley leads you out to Gandara. Song-Hai is a very plain jane hole-in-the-wall resto. Nothing fancy & in the tradition of Ong Lay Kee.

 

Their Soup #5... the way it was cooked & the price/bowl, i rate theirs... the best among Chinatown Charlies in PH - bar none.

 

 

WARNING: If you had history of high-cholesterol/uric-acid, Sopas Numero Cinco is detrimental to your health & well-being!

Too bad, Hua Lan, along Jupiter closed down, they serve such a delicious dimsum.

.....panoorin nyo daw ang IMBESTIGADOR ni MIKE ENRIQUEZ on 28 feb, eexpose daw nya na ang soup ginagamit sa MASUKI madison branch, greenhills ay galing sa tubig ng CR and that they are serving expired SIOPAO and SIOMAI, where the hell did he cook up these details????????

 

......watch nalang tayo, hope this does not happen in MASUKI benavidez, stay tuned.......
