My Inn. as in yun yung pangalan nya.

same sa sinabe ng poster above si @jwynn. Sogo makati ave or eurotel pasong tamo. there are a few small hidden apartelles sa may bagtikan and malugay but dont expect quality, most of them have been around for 20years at least with barely or no renovations.

kung may budget ka naman for overnight. i think i saw some units for rent sa columns and sa beacon and rise for like 2k - 2.5k per night. para isang tawid lang.

    RE: Colums and Beacon

AirBnb ba to master? Will they require IDs?

  2. Been awhile since I ate at these joints but from memory

    Restaurants

    8 Cuts expensive and fatty

Sweet X expensive but worth it but expensive

Hackensack remembers like a Sweet X wannabe

Pound is one of the worst with its coal laden flavorless dry patties

Burger Project was good when they started but quality went down after expanding i guess

Zarks I used to like when I was in college but tried it several times in the past few years and it was disgusting, I couldnt finish the burger. Its like street-side vendor patty made bigger.

    In the US:

Shake Shack is really good. Tastes fresh. Parang hindi junk food kinakain mo.

In N Out is also really good. But feels more greasy. Junk food but doesnt feel as heavy.

Five Guys is also really good. But is the greasiest of the bunch. Junkiest junk food you love when drunk or high.

    For fast food:

McD's Double Quarter pounder is my usual go to for burger cravings

Burger King also doesnt disappoint even though you know it aint really flame grilled. On par with McD's burger game but tastes less greasy.
    Tropical sucks but its nostalgic

I used to like Wendy's but havent tried it again for the longest time.

  3. Depends on your objective. If you are looking to achieve peak performance, muscle strength, flexibility, power output and endurance are all better in the later in the day than they are in the morning.

Morning workouts' major benefit is it allows you to be more consistent with your routine. Same with diet, the best workout program is the one you can stick to.

I'd delve into hormones, sleep cycles and whatnot but thats the TLDR version of it.

  4. Ok this might be too nit-picky for some but let me chime in

MORNING advantage is correlation to CONSISTENCY. Research has found that people who exercise before their day starts have higher scores in following their programs.

    Imagine mo na lng.

Gising ka ng mas maaga. Nag exercise then pumasok sa trabaho/negosyo.

    VS

    etc etc

Pero syempre case to case basis depende sa lifestyle but bottom line the morning advantage is synonymous to exercise before your day starts.

AFTERNOON advantage is STRONGER output. Research shows that athletes have higher power output in the late afternoons. So if you are a competitive lifter (not necessarily professional) you might get some benefit working out in the late afternoons in trying to break those PRs.

Personally, I can lift heavier weights in the late afternoons compared to mornings so I can say that this hypothesis applies to me.

  5. ang pilates ba kaya paliit ng tiyan?

    AFAIK Yes, Maybe, No.

Yes because it strengthens the core or mas nagkakaroon ka ng better posture - no more slouching. So YES it gives you the ILLUSION of a smaller tummy.

MAYBE since any form of exercise is better than NO exercise.

NOT REALLY. Regular pilates burn less calories than other forms of exercise.

The intangible benefit of exercise is the mental discipline that it teaches you. In terms of the caloric equation, exercise actually has a small part to play but a small important part nonetheless.

  6. Hi MTC peeps!

First some background on what i do in terms of physical activity.

    Weekdays

10 min walk in the AM

20-30 min walk in the afternoon

    3 times a week

    20 min cardio

1 - 1.5 hr weight training - i concentrate on basic exercises targeting the larger muscle groups.

I've been working out close to 7 yrs now (on and off) but i never had the discipline to get the proverbial washboard abs. One thing I never got a complete control over is my appetite.

    5'6

    154 - 156 lbs

Know this paints a rather vague figure of what i am now but hope you guys can help me come up with a diet that's easy to prepare and follow.

Hope this time 'round i'll have enough resolve to actually see this diet through.

so the $65K question is... Can you guys share some of your typical 5-6 meal diet and the ideal time interval to eat the meals?

hope to get some good insights here. planning to start my diet by next week. yey im excited
