  1. ^^^ that's true, one can buy the peripherals; and no, it's NOT a problem. at least not for me.

boomouse - you probably don't remember a little over 3 years ago, i posted on the mac users' thread that i bought a macbook (my first time to ever touch an apple product). i've been a happy camper ever since. as for the iPhone, i converted when the 3gs came out about 10 months ago.

  2. i've used mine for almost a week now; although it would be better to have a usb port, and the ability to hook up to a printer, and a camera; i do NOT feel disappointed whatsoever. i bought it for what it is. oh, it'd also be nicer if it had a dvd drive. :)

like id6230, i also wonder when they'd offer the 3g service in the philippines for the iPad. it's sim card is smaller than the one used on a cell phone, and it comes pre-installed.

  3. question ko pagbumili k b iphone s states magagamit mo b d2 o nakalock?

    depends on which iphone

for the new 3g s that came out jun 19, hindi pwede

pwera na lang kung mapa unlock mo

yun namang mga 3g, meron nabibiling unlocked; just do an internet search

  4. overdrive allows your car to use the lowest gear possible. if your car is a 4AT, it uses the fourth gear if necessary. turning it off would only allow your AT to use the 3rd gear/2nd gear, resulting in high FC.

you only turn off your OD if you are paahon, parang dun sa may long stretch ng marcos highway going to baguio.

you don't even have to do this

your transmission will automatically hunt for the necessary lower gear

let's say you have a 5 speed overdrive tranny and you're going up a steep hill

you probably may not even get to 4th gear

and your tranny will just hunt between 2nd and 3rd

ON and OFF... ON pag mag overtake OFF pag cruising speed na.

    you have that backwards?

  5. was invited to robert craig's "representation without taxation" party at their downtown napa tasting room

started with a 2007 mt george cuvee

65% cab sauv, 30% cab franc, 5% merlot

    good everyday wine

    $30 per bottle

barrel tasted 2008 affinity cab sauv and 2008 mt veeder cab sauv

loved both of them; the mt veeder was very bold compared to the affinity. can't wait for their release

tasted both 1999 affinity cab sauv and 1999 mt veeder cab sauv

poured by robert craig himself; short chat with him

    1999 affinity

deep red, black cherry, blackberry, some smoke, some sweetness and oak

at $80 a bottle, i was a bit disappointed. it was nothing extraordinary. i found it a little soft

    1999 mt veeder

ruby red, purplish color, smoke, oak, fuller bodied than the affinity, moderate tannins

    my favorite:

    2006 mt veeder cab sauv

    81% cabernet, 19% merlot

    black fruits, chocolate, vanilla, cedar

    great finish

$70 per bottle; i brought home a case :thumbsupsmiley:

also had a short chat with steve tebb, one of robert craig's winemakers

  6. Hi wine experts,

Would like to get your opinion here.....

I am hosting dinner at home for some 60-70 family and friends. Menu is steak, chicken and fish. Before buying wines to go with it, I would like to ask for your inputs as to what red and white wines to buy.

I intend to buy 10 bottles REDS and 10 bottles WHITES. My budget is P300/bottle. Can you recommend which red and white wine to buy? and which liquor store sells them?

    Thanks in advance folks.

for steak, i'd go for a cabernet sauvignon; for the chicken and fish, perhaps a sauvignon blanc or a gewurtz

  7. Take no offense to Agxo posted but I concur with his remarks.

I, too, am familiar with Paul Masson, it was popular then just like Boone's Farm and Andre Cold Duck.

I definitely was referring to Mogen David which had a distinct bottle shape and grape juicy-type taste. It was not far from the "Welch" grape juice being sold at Nepo mart too back then.

  8. The wine in the Welch's grape juice-like bottle might have been MD20-20 (Mogen David). OR, it could have been Lancers?

    NAILED IT!!!! It's Mogen David!!!!

    maki sali sa usapan ninyo

    i'm NOT necessarily disagreeing
