  1. you could wait for the dev team or tyry to find yourself a turbosim to unlock your phone.

i have a big problem mga bro...my friend sent me an iphone 3gs from canada...may bayad syempre...locked under rogers (canadian provider). the first thing i did was upgrade my pc with itunes9 and the worst is i also upgraded the phone's firmware to 3.1. i then surf for tips to jailbreak and make it openline...:Lo and behold, all along there were already reminders out there in the web not to update the firmware as doing so would also update the phone baseband which wont allow you to jailbreak, openline, nor downgrade to lower version...so now, my iphone is just like an itouch. and until now, looks like the devteam hasn't cracked the 3.1 yet especially for 3Gs.

anyone who had the same probs? did you manage to fix it?!? oh i guess i'm just the idiot here :(

  2. For everyone's info,

I called the apple store today in modesto, ca to get the iphone 32 gb 3gs. to my surprise, you could actually buy the unit itself from the apple store without the contract from att, just the phone. THe ihpone not tied to a contarct would only cost $700 + tax or $34000 plus tax.

im going to the u.s. (california) next week, san pwede makabili ng iphone na pwede magamit as prepaid phone dito sa pinas? what specs do i need to look for? whats the current market price? thanks

  4. just got my iphone 16 GB 3G. I'm enjoying every moment with it. Its a totally different experince. Ngayon, panay hanap ko ng apps. I bought mine second hand from craigslist, $530. Ang lamang ko, walang kontrata, jailbroken and unlocked. I just use my wireless internet s bahay.

    Sobrang mahal sa globe.

  5. So talagang mura lang talaga ang products nila???

60% mark-up is a very far conservative estimate. look at the cost to actually produce the shoe. it's made of plastic and/or plastic derivatives and foam - products that are cheap. add to that cheap slave labor in china, mass production efficiency and technology and what have you got???? With 60% mark-ups I don't think that they are able to have greedy profits and at the same time pay million dollar endorsement deals to the sprots people.

A friend of mine in high places said that the actual cost to produce the shoe is roughly 200 pesos. come to think of it, the fakes from china are being sold at least for 600 pesos and nike's manufacturing base is in china.......

  6. the better and cheper alternative is dalhin nyo sa mga radiator repair shops sa mga kanto. they change the plastic part into metal..copper ata or something....

ginawa ko na ito sa toyota ko and so far, wala naman problema. just make sure that you check the radiator fluid level every now and then and add radiator coolant to the fluid.

the cost....P1000.00 at P50.00 na merienda sa tabing tindahan..

  7. Garmin GPS receiver

AC lighter adapter for my laptop

Kaboom!!! I can now pinpoint my exact location anywhere in the United States and Canada. I can also just enter any address and I will be given a driving direction, complete with voice notification, plus info on the locations of banks, gas stations, motels and restaurants, etc...
