This was the battle for third ata.

this was i think the worst. sayang wala pa video clip sa youtube. wala tlgang brawl nowadays.

sa mga biktima ng mga hinabol naman, si Ricky Relosa ni Thompkins, Jay Mendoza ng Shell, hinabol nila locsin, lago, wilmer ong, etc. James Yap, well we know mabilis pala yun sa takbuhan.

  3. ^ air21 was leading by a point and mamaril was on the free throw line for 2 shots. mamaril muffed both free throws which could've iced the game. bgk got the ball with 5.5 seconds remaining. brown dribbled the ball down court. passed the ball to villanueva who was way free under the basket. instead of going straight to the basket, villanueva took one dribble thus got the defense caught up with him. commentators said villanueva apparently lost the handle of the ball that's why he had to take one dribble. bgk failed to score as time expired.

Oh man...I would love to see it sa youtube..probably the usual case na..tumingin sa ring bago pa makuha ang bola? Gusto pa ata ng team natin na napupunta sa brink bago magpakitang gilas ulit..haha.

    inuman na!

  5. if my memory serves me well, Gamble played only 4 games for Anejo, replaced and later resurfaced as part of the rotation of the Boston Celtics.

ni freethrow di makashoot ng maayos un..

pero pagpunta ng NBA...tumagal kahit konti..haha!

    kakaiba.

  6. Hatfield brings new energy to Ginebra Kings

    By WAYLON GALVEZ

With his family settled in the United States, Rudy Hatfield feels now is the best time to resume his basketball career in the PBA.

It took Hatfield almost three years to deal with issues concerning his family back in Michigan and now, the 6-foot-3 forward is thrilled and excited to see action in the PBA again with the popular ball club Ginebra.

“I’m actually excited. I’m thrilled to be back,” Hatfield said after his second practice session with the Kings Wednesday at the Acropolis Gym in Libis, Quezon City.

“I’m trying to get back in shape, try to gel with my team.”

Hatfield, who arrived early Tuesday, left the country in 2007 after helping the Kings win the all-Filipino Philippine Cup title.

At that time, his girlfriend Bettany was in a legal battle for the custody of her daughter Bella from a previous marriage. The couple got married that same year and now has an eight-month-old daughter named Lyla.

“That’s the reason why I left, the reason why I didn’t join the national team (which placed ninth overall in the FIBA-Asia Championship in Tokushima, Japan). I got married that same month,” said Hatfield, who currently stays with his good buddy and Ginebra teammate Eric Menk.

Back in the US, Hatfield, 32, said he took several jobs, including a computer software support, “which I wasn’t really good at.”

Hatfield said when he realized he wants to comeback in the PBA he decided to play some pick-up games to prepare him for his return. He’s not in top shape yet, he said.

“As far as getting up and down the floor, I say 8 or 9. Reading the plays and reading my teammates, maybe 5. I guess in two weeks I’ll be ready,” said Hatfield, who has career averages of 13.4 points and 10.8 rebounds.

“I’m just happy to have an opportunity to play again,” he added.

One of Hatfield’s teammates who is happy to see him back is Menk.

“On a personal level, I’m happy because he is my best friend. It’s good to have him back. I miss him the last two years,” Menk said.

Ginebra will face Rain or Shine on Saturday in an out-of-town game in Victorias City, but head coach Jong Uichico said it’s not certain if Hatfield will play.

“It’s hard to push him. He’s not yet in the right timing. We’ll still be deciding if we’ll play him or not,” Uichico said, adding that forward Junthy Valenzuela was relegated to the reserve list to accommodate Hatfield.

One thing is clear, though. He wants to help the team win another title just like he did when he first joined the franchise in 2007.

  7. As much as some of us hate it..

Cardona MIGHT land on our team.

In my opinion, it's all good. Cardona plays with Intensity and heart and so does our very own Tubid.

If he ever plays for our team... then magiging energy team na tayo...

    TUBID

    CARDONA

    HATFIELD

    K. WHITE (Ang pumalit kay Gayoso as "Mr. Excited") LOL

Just imagine magsabay ang mortal enemies. LOL.

But I'd pick Tubid over Cardona anytime..I just hope the team does not trade Tubid for another player. Tubid is one of a kind.

Sad to see Cyrus go though..(IF HE DOES GET TRADED) maybe he is better off to a Yeng Guiao team if TNT trades him to air21/BK.

It's like Coach Yeng-Baguio to Alfrancis Chua-Mac Cuan. LOL

Lets just wait and see...exciting and interesting!

While Purefoods and Alaska are still contesting the All Filipino crown, the 8 other squads are slowly starting the preparations for the Fiesta Conference which opens on March 21st. And to make sure they’ll be the ones in the finals for next conference, several teams are naturally seeking ways to buff up their roster.

In fact two playoffs teams that were at odds with each other have smoked the peace pipe and are negotiating a blockbuster deal which could send a player known for his patented move for a player who amazes with his hang time. That same popular team is also trying to bate this one player who was traded recently and an energy guy from another team as an alternate plan if plan A won’t push through.

These two teams are also discussing the possibility of trading two players in the forward position. A Fil-Am for a former collegiate standout? This is not a priority but if the offer is there, both are willing to give it a go.

While Mr. Patented move and the Fil-am forward are in the market, a streak shooter and a center from that same squad are also reportedly going back to their previous turf. In exchange, a former free agent who proved to be a brawny banger and a wide center with a nice shooting touch from mid range will be donning new colors. This will be the center’s 3rd team in the PBA.

And speaking of centers, one team which had a late surge in the standings before bowing out of the playoffs is now open for negotiations for their star center. Nothing is final yet with whom they’ll be trading with because they’re weighing out their options. This could mean whatever is being offered right now is not enough. They’re also trying to find a way to get a former PBA player back in the league which could improve their perimeter game.
