    1. Love as if it is always your first day being together..

    2. In loving somebody...don't give it all...learn to keep something for yourself

    3. Be careful of the person you'll choose to love...don't be deceived by your emotions..

    4. lastly...love is never equal...so make sure that the person loves you more!

    speaking from my recent experience...how do I stay away from someone I love so much...i just cut all communcations...deleted all contacts..and most of all ..pray that soon you'll be able to totally forget the person and move on. if that person caused you so much pain...learn to love yourself more..and leave some pride sa sarili mo....have the will power to control yourself not to make the first move even..or if the person keeps bugging you do best to ignore!

    i am using Toshiba Satellite. 2 weeks old pa lang. so far so good. i think extra wide ang screen. quite thick and big for laptop but so far so good. my laptop is considered as a personal entertainment system. good for video, music and gaming. :) below is the picture...

    Maybe in 10 years time we will have a real Pinoy wine. It is not improbable to find a good spot and plant vinifera (grape used in wine). Baguio? Central Luzon?

     

    In the meantime, I saw a mango-based wine/liquor that was concocted with the help of the French. I saw that in a food expo but haven't seen it since. Maybe the distribution is weak or maybe it is for export only.

     

    Also, foreigners tend to like our local rhum, Tanduay Rhum. We might belittle this rhum but people outside actually are surprised by the quality of the product.

    go to Kultura (the Filipiniana section of SM), they sell a variety of locally produced wines - mango, strawberry, duhat. they also sell coconut wine which comes in ethnic packaging.

     

    as for other liquor, get the Tanduay Rum Premium (blue label) which is available in SM grocery wine section.

    Whatever Tanduay Rhum you choose, please select those aged between 12 to 20 years old. This range, I would say, has the best price to quality ratio.

    if i'm not mistaken, it's ilocano for local rice wine .... it's being marketed as a mainstream wine .....

     

    last time i saw it (dec 2006) was in rustan's supermart ....

     

    it tastes like mellowed gin with a kick ... but that's just me :)

    I would not be too sure about local wine especially when your requirement is: "hindi mapapahiya" but there is one liqueur that has been consistently well received:

    Paradiso Mango Rhum Liqueur from Destilleria Limtuaco. Even the packaging is good. Priced below P500 in most liqour shops. Its almost like the mango version of Cointreau which is of course orange based.

    hi wine peeps... need your help. i have an american colleague who is here til next week. She is looking for local wines that she can bring back to the US as she collects local wines from the country she visits and sterm glasses. Please give me an idea where i can get Philippine local wines for her na magugustuhan nya at di sya mapapahiya sa mga friends nya. :) I am giving her GSM Blue as a friend advised me na masarap ito..though I know this is considered liquor nonetheless, pinoy pa rin. :)

    i totally agree!!! and this you have to know...my experience with SMART BRO..i got my application through an agent in a supermarket when this was offered initially. so i took the chance and decided to try it. according to the agent, i'll know if the application is approve after a week through text message. true to form i got the text message confirming that application is ok and that somebody will come to install the unitl on which i have to pay around 1,500++. i was not informed that it has a 1 yr lock up date. same thing happened to my colleague in my former office. he was not also informed of the lock up date. after suffering for 2 months due to bad service (connection, tech support etc) i decided to have it disconnected. i went to the wireless center only to be informed of the lock up date and that i was also informed that if i have to have it disconnected i should talk to MERIDIAN who is the one providing the service. the SMART ( not so smart!) after sales agent told me that it is Meridian who will decide if they will disconnect or not given that this is just a partnership with SMART and MERIDIAN. I told the not so SMART lady that i won't talk to Meridian coz i know it was SMART who offered the service to me. guess what...until now this is still a pending issue. Nobody from SMART dared to settle this issue inspite of all the reports and letters i've sent...and guess what .. they havent disconnected the line until it reached Php 20k and they want me to pay for it even though i didnt use the not so SMART connection since March 6 and they even have the nerve to threaten me of filing a suit against me. duh!??! :O eh when i went to their not so SMART wireless center, the after sales person told me not to settle anything and they will help me resolve this. duh..labo ng SMART BRO...BULOK to the maX!!!

    not really but... hehehehe..hopefully not shorter than me..i am only 5'1 and on the heavy side medyo di maganda tignan if the guy is a lot shorter than me..matatabunan ko na. :) preferably if i'll be given the choice..i want my guy aroun5'8 to 5'10 :)
