Most figures I collect are Japanese. Been after the Saint Cloth Myth series lately, too bad these things are rare in Phils, not to mention their prices are jacked up

if you really like Saint Seiya figures. What I normally do is buy them online, then have the item shipped to my family/friends' address outside of Philippines. And request if they can bring it home, if ever uwi sila ng pinas. I agree jacked up price dito sa atin. One good collection sa series are the 12 Gold saints plus the bronze saints in their original bronze cloths. Just sharing lang dre..

I normally play FPS games on my PC (hard to aim and stuff using a controller.. or it's just me) and most RPGs/ACtion games on Console.

you can directly buy from Japan, www.hlj.com is you are willing to wait and if you have a few credit cards to charge in.

 

or you can go to Greenhills, Greattoys Online and Wasabi Toys (GT are on sale till Oct. 20, lots of branches in Manila) if you want to have it right there and if you don't mind a few hundreds raise on the price.

 

or you can go to Toy Kingdom on all SM Malls, Toys R Us, Lil's Hobby Centers is you really want it expensive and easy to find stores.

 

or you can find a broker who buy and sell units, you will be waiting for days or weeks though but the price is real cheap, almost near the original price, for an authentic bandai unit. I know two guys, let me know if you are interested.

Agree on what was said above. To add on Item 1: you might need to add a few extra PHP in "paying-off" Customs. I encountered this before when ordering from abroad.. I initially thought would have saved a bit from buying from HLJ during their gundam sales promo, but instead, I paid more because of Customs . Hay Customs..

Depends on the model you're planning on buying but to give you an idea (rough estimate):

Bandai:

SD Gundams: range from 300 to 800 (I think.. but based on the items I saw at stores)

No grades 1/100: range from php1000 to 1500

No grades 1/60: Range from 2800 to 3000

High grades 1/144 : range from Php800 to 1500

Master Grades 1/100: range from 1600 to 5K

Perfect grade 1/60: range from 8500 to 15K

TT Hongli (Divisoria or 168):

- normlly the bootlegs cost way less than the original Bandai

but get an idea of the "quality" you will be getting from youtube reviews.. some US folks have them already so you can base your call from there

I've started on the hobby myself. I've actually have a few No Grades for the Gundam Seed/Destiny Line. Bought a few Gundam markers already. But would you guys be able to suggest a finishing coat I could use to make the model glossy or shinny? not sure what type of paint to use though. Any help is appreciated.
