    Responsibilities

     

    Technical Support will perform a multi-functional maintenance role in the account. They will be the first point of contact for the account’s customers whether the issue is proactively detected or reactively called in by the customer. In order to perform this function, a multitude of tools, telephone and systems will be utilized in order to bring the issues to resolution.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Preferably a graduate of a University Degree on Computer Applications, ECE, COE, Information Technology or with an equivalent strong knowledge and/or experience in troubleshooting email and internet connections

    • Call center/IT Support experience is a big plus

    • Knowledge of cellular phones and available techniques for data transmission between cellular phones, computer (Infrared, data connectivity kits) and the Internet (use phone as modem)

    • Must be familiar with email, chat and internet connectivity

    • Must have strong knowledge in Networking and Networking devices

    • Knowledge in computer hardware/software troubleshooting techniques

    • Knowledge in basic computer usage (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, and Internet)

    Responsibilities

     

    • Answer technical telephone/e-mail inquiries from customers.

    • Confirms telephone correspondence, using customer’s specifications or account proposals to meet customer’s requirements

    • Assists District Manager and Area Supervisor in the preparation of technical proposals

    • Contacts by phone general contractors, electrical contractors, engine generator dealers, switchboard manufacturers, OEMs, and engineers as needed to track projects and improve probability of receipt of order

    • Improve relationships with all customers and industry contact by providing prompt, courteous response to inquiries

    • Handles responsibilities with minimal supervision required

    • Promote account products and its capabilities

    • Provide general star-up assistance to customers planning to put account products in service

    Qualifications
