ang mahirap kasi sa iba political bias agad iniisip. why not take a step back and evaluate the comments/criticisms on the basis of method or presentation of the materials and information that was provided? masyadong defensive pero wala naman logic. sometimes even common sense wala din.

there are a lot of root causes, but thr biggest factor is congestion. the only real solution is better urban planning. effective mass transport system is a close second.

 

it's been decades and several administrations passed by, but none of them had the political will to decongest metro manila. they all keep resorting to bandaid solutions without even trying to decongest metro manila first. plug the holes on the boat first instead of just throwing buckets of water back into the sea.

if the total is wrong and numbers are inconsistent, then that's a credibility issue. it makes one question the validity of the whole information. some may go as far as saying the data is fabricated/manipulated. at least that's how it is in the real world.

 

ok, might be really a simple discrepancy caused by rounding off numbers. if that's the case, readers have every right to doubt and question the validity of what's presented. if something so simple is prone to error, it makes them wonder what other flaws/mistakes are there.

 

I'm saying this coming from the point of view of a working professional of more than 10 years. if someone uses rounding off as an excuse at work, none of my bosses from all 4 companies i worked for would find it acceptable. sa grade school tsaka high school lang yan lulusot. and maybe some mediocre college or university.

Well maaga pa naman para mahusgahan ang TRAIN na iyan. Nakasurvive naman tayo ng nagkaroong ng 10% VAT then naging 12%EVAT so I think ok pa naman tayo. Ang kailangan lang bantayan kung saan magagamit iyong additional income na ito sa goverment. Mas ok na ako dito sa TRAIN para maging simplify ang taxation system natin.

Counter arguments? Before telling someone to make a counter argument, try making a counter argument to the TRAIN first.

but if we are to disregard the effects of train to the poor (and how some of its provisions favor the rich), then yes, no arguments here.

natatawa ako sa mga nag focus lang sa achievements. sure, FM did contribute a lot during his time, but he gained more in the process. kumbaga mas malaki sana ang positive contribution if he and his family and friends were clean.

 

we must evaluate both the good and the bad. then determine the net effect if it's positive or negative. kulang na lang sambahin ng iba si marcos, which i find funny and sad at the same time.

but on a more serious note, I'm just pointing out obvious lapses and shortcomings. they can be defensive and assume all they want, but what I post are usually based on facts and common sense. in the end, we can agree to disagree if our thoughts are different.

puwede naman magpost ng counter arguments kung meron man. hindi magbabago ang masamang epekto sa taong bayan kahit ilang beses pa basahin yan ng paulit ulit. di ko talaga maintindihan kung bakit gusto ng iba lokohin ang kanilang sarili.

kung alam nilang rampant ang smuggling then why don't they address that problem? tanga lang talaga kahit sa high school di uubra ang kanyang logic. it's sad that most in power right now are intellectually challenged, or they think that the citizens are that dumb.
