  1. what i dont understand is that you are saying that the neighbor wants the WHOLE compound surveyed while on the otherhand, you are saying that only the part of your cousin is the one he is claiming, how come?

actually, we really don't know why he wants the WHOLE compund be surveyed. what we are thinking is that if he has to survey an area, it should only be my cousin's lot since that is the one adjacent to his lot, and that is the area he claims that occupied his property. but we were surprised when he informed us that it has to be the WHOLE compound that has to be surveyed.

regarding the settlement, if ever reached, does that mean that the title will also be amended ?

thanks for the advice, agentjackbauer and jopoc.

  2. Need your advice on this :

We live in a compound which has been subdivided and titled separately. Now, a neighbor living beside the compound is saying that a certain part of his lot has been occupied by one of the subdivided sections. He now wants the WHOLE compound be surveyed to justify his cause. My question is, our section is not affected by his complaint, do we have to subject to his demand ? It is actually our cousin's section that is the subject of the complaint.

another thing, no formal complaint has been raised yet. do you suggest that the case be brought to court, or just the so-called "friendly-neighbor-settlement" ?

    thanks !

  3. May tanong lang ako regarding declared holidays...

Declared as holiday ang Feb 25, as per Malacanang announcement. If we are required to attend a company teambuilding on this day, are we supposed to receive overtime pay ? How about if the company activity is donbe on a weekend (granting that our normal wrokday is mon-fri), should we still get compensation for that ?

  5. Internal modem or external modem? Anyways...

Installing an internal modem in Windows 98 can be more grief than it’s worth, but we know the solution to your problem. The reason your modem won’t have been detected is because it requires a ‘virtual’ COM port, either port three or four, and these aren’t installed by default.

To do this manually, launch the Add New Hardware wizard from the Control Panel. Click Next twice, the wizard will look for – and not find – new hardware on your PC. Now select No, I want to select the hardware from a list and click Next again. Choose Ports (COM & LPT), click Next and make sure Communications Port is selected. Click Next and accept the default settings. Click Next and shut down and restart when prompted.

Once Windows has rebooted, open Device Manager to verify COM port three has been added successfully, then repeat for COM port four. Once this has been added, shut down and physically install your modem if it hasn’t been already. Windows will automatically detect it on reboot – if not, add it using the Modems Control Panel. If it still doesn’t automatically detect it, add it manually to either COM port three or four. We’re assuming you have the drivers for it – if not, you’ll need to perform a search for your chipset.

Hope this will help. Good luck! :)

maraming salamat. going to try it later when i come home.

  6. Question ...

Meron akong modem sa pc ko na working naman sya on a windows 98. For some reason eh nag-install ng Windows 2000 yung pinsan ko and hindi na nagwork yung modem. I decided to switch back to windows 98 kasi wala akong makuhang driver, but the problem is kahit sa windows 98 eh hindi na madetect yung modem. What seems to be the problem ?

  7. This is with regards to environmental laws here in the Philippines.

    Maraming salamat.

  8. Since the damage was quite minimal, it probably won't prosper to a criminal case in case a complaint is filed.

i would think the most ur friend would have to pay as "damages" would be the actual hospital fees and expenses attendant to getting medical attention. other than that, he won't be liable for anything since the pedestrian had no business jaywalking.... and the information will pretty much show that ur friend exercised due diligence while driving.

    thanks ms lyssaHOT !

  9. This is the situation. A friend of mine was driving along C5 going towards Pasig at around 10:00 pm. Then he hit this man (fortunately kamay lang at parang daplis lang) and he stopped to help the man. And then ngayon parang hinaharass na sya ng lalake. According to my friend, it happened in that section wherein curved yung road. He admitted that he didn't see that man but that section was supposed to be off-limits to pedestrian because of the steel railings in the island of the highway.
