my girlfriends and i are planning to celebrate a good friend's birthday soon. we were thinking of eating somewhere nice and then going dancing and drinking afterwards. but then it hit us, our heyday has passed... we no longer know where the hotspots are. there used to be so many choices... like orange, fat willy's, mondo, mars... (is this showing how old i really am?)
was just wondering, are there still places where we can go where it's classy, safe and fun to go dancing in? APART from embassy. and within the makati area.

Piedra (Fort): especially on fridays
Embassy: (i know you said it na but Happy Mondays in Cuisine and Hiphop wednesdays are great)
Alchemy: Fridays and Saturdays (not in Makati though but worth looking)
Ponti Salcedo: though i haven't been there for the longest time! Heard from my friends its ok
Jill's at the Fort: If you're game with the new wave / 80s / house crowd
Fez (Serendra): very laid back, small crowd.
Warehouse 135: If you feel the crowd
Fiamma (Bel-Air): Not really packed though
My strong options are really Embassy on Wednesdays / Piedra on Fridays / Alchemy on weekends.
