  1. question lang guys and gals...

here's the scenario, 2 or more passengers going to different destinations (yet all the venues are in close proximity with each other) riding a single cab. do you think it's unfair for the driver to ask that the meter be reset for every stop he makes?

actually no. mas gusto ng driver ganun kasi dalawa flag down niya. in fact some drivers nag reklamo or expects tip when trip involves several venues with one flag down

  2. dont ever think you are born lucky and be cautious of girl gangs giving extra ordinary interest to you. they could offer you a big night but instead wake up the next morning in a strange place with a big headache stripped of your money. MO din yun they give you the cutest and youngest of the group to be set up for child abuse to come accross. the worst are those with STD na naghahanap ng kadamay. nothing is free in this world. there could be exceptions... but remember you are NOT one of them.

  3. Guys i need your help. one day nilinis ko ung pc ko after that hindi na sya sumindi may power naman ung fan ng processor then i check the video card and yung mga plugs ok naman.

bro, before you clean up your pc you were experiencing any problem with the unit? i suspect nag off or hang na siya and when you checked madumi yun fans ng processor and blowers etc. malaki chance nag crash na motherboard mo when it overheated. get professional help for diagnostics.

  4. there is this property that was purchased by buyer A from a legit developer that unfortunately went practically bust. buyer A then sold the property to buyer B who finished paying the mortgage. the bank later released the original title to buyer B but it is still under the name of the developer. to transfer the title to buyer A and later buyer B, there is a need to present the deed of sale between buyer A and developer which is nowhere to be found. what is the way out of this situation? thanks poh.

  5. the heading of this topic is actually wrong. my dad used to say that people talk about making their first million when the exchange rate to the dollar was 5, when tution fee was 350 a semester and the average starting annual salary of a college grad was less than php9,000.00. now one has to spend nearly a million for a good college education. whats the big deal with a million?

my advice is that you cannot make good money without capital which is not necessarily money. if you are currently employed which gives you opportunity to travel outside the philippines, take a time off not to walk around as a tourist but make it an extended business trip. tignan nyo ano meron doon wala pa tayo and observe how they do things. before mr quickie opened the shoe repair business in the phils those machines were already considered obsolete in uk.

timing is also important and always there. be alert and ready for the k*ll. any business now in the phils could be considered over crowded but there are bad businessmen running good business and a lot of the next generation might not be interested in their current businesses. look for a job that you can have yourself in future although it does not pay well on short term.

the lucio tans of the previous generations lived in a different time zone when most filipinos wanted to become gentlemen doctors, lawyers and professors. the lucio tans are encouraged and protected to take on the dirty work of building up businesses. ngayun iba na panahon. both dont despair. lucio tan will probably tell you that in their time wala pa computers and celphones, mahal ang car and konti lang maganda chicks. it is up to us to harness the energy around us.

  6. Just went to that comedy club near the corner of Buendia and Roxas Blvd (Jan. 9, 2007) - FUNLINE....

my 1st time to go to a comedy bar in the Phil. in ages.

Well, Tuesday would be an off-night for any club, but the gay comedians were a shocker for my wife and I. We're not prudes but...whew...anyway, something different. But I would not be able to stomach this type of 'comedy' on a regular basis. We had complimentary entrance tickets - guess what?, they gave us free tickets again to visit again. BUSINESS MUST BE BAD!

It wasnt bad - actually, tawa naman kami. But the leve of sophistication in the jokes, the entire bawdiness and downright superficial nature....di ko masyadong trip. I think I would prefer comedians with a little more flair and better routine - wala na ba sina Gary Lising, Nanette Inventor ...I sound like I'm talking from my generation past...

Oh well, at least Boobsie and the Gang there sang "Leaving on a Jet Plane" before we actually board the plane the next day...

    CHEERS!

i think your observation is entirely correct. i have seen one show 5 years ago and definitely not going to waste time to see another one even for free. it is primarily a watering hole with an entertainment catered to the occasion. usapang lasing kung baga. most of these pseudo entertainers are just there for the money and lacked the humor in their life and necessary formal education. it is rather pathetic considering that a lot of filipino entertainers have lived and worked overseas one would wonder what they have gained intellectually. also with the internet, it is very easy just to see how the international professionals do it and learn from it. i look forward to see the economy gets better so we can afford have "imports" even balikbayans.

  7. agree with you 100%. used to work in an insurance company and the cost of getting an endowment plan would really k*ll you for the first 10 years. afterwards, its all money, in which, if you have invested in other channels can provide you with the liquidity as well as the savings target that you want to achieve.

but i think insurance companies these days have stopped selling term insurance.

term insurance is still around. nagbago lang focus kasi merun na combination of investment and term insurance. it works on basis that the term insurance will guarantee your future payments to your investment. you must realize that the weakness of term insurance is that you throw away money every year (parang sugal) if you fail to die. this is good for those with short term requirement like making sure you have money to pay a loan or education for your children in case of death. the idea of an endowment is that you have no expertise and time to handle your savings so that you give it to the insurance company on a guaranteed return (which on certain types is not entirely accurate).

  8. GSIS is killing the local non-life insurance company like those you find close to LTO. I saw their posts and their "hinaing" in killing their industry. Pleaing to PGMA to stop this!

bro sorry that you are misinformed on this issue. the TPL insurance you buy around lto in the good old days is a scam. usually the complaint is that in anything the government try to compete price is uncompetitive and unrealiable. killing the local industry is not a good reason not to pursue the project. if the public will get a better service at a lower price then why not? the private companies, just like in any other indutsry, should be able to show that the government is not capable. public interest is the paramount issue.

  9. I met him here in mtc. I think he was in a (rocky) relationship that time. He added me on his ym account and since then we became chatmates, exchanged cel #'s and few months after our first meeting, he became my bf. The rest is history. :)

He's my husband now. :) We got married four months ago.

wow girl. bow me sa tapang ninyo dalawa. you must be pretty open minded and secured with yourselves. lets admit mtc is not wholesome and even you are both tame, merun pa rin kayo kulo nakatago to be at mtc. i could only imagine that you are aware of your husbands dark side so it may take a good character to accept that. while siya naman have to be careful as he is aware that you are aware of his dark side. good luck.

  10. i dont think it matters a lot when she is your GF because GF/BF relationship is still a exploratory stage. in fact the issue most of the time is pagbibigyan ka rin ba ng GF mo? kasi you believe that if she had sex with the previous BF why cant you enjoy the same benefits? so the girl get trapped which is another subject. the issue of virginity might come in later when you start taking the relationship to a higher level. you start wondering if she will be a good wife and mother as the virginity becomes part of the test of character. you start wondering if she is comparing your performance with the previous guy. if the girl knows how to play her cards well then she can always make this issue a non-issue. reading the Memoirs of a Geshia is a must for you girls. it will teach you how to be politically correct and how to make your man believe that is the best in the world. :thumbsupsmiley:
